Nursing student life saver!

This is invaluable to the nursing student. You have at your fingertips access to drug list, assessments, diagnosis, dictionary etc. It was a little difficult to operate all of the features because of the lack of a detailed manual. I needed a friend from my clinical group who has one to load it for me. I still have not figured out certain features and how to operate them.

Having owned three other Palm PDAs in the past, I was excited at the prospect of the speed, capacity and display of this machine. Only one problem...it continually lost its digitizer register and I would have to do a full reset to realign the machine...a warm reset wouldn't do it. As usual, Palm technical support was hard to reach and useless when I did reach them, and the online help was only useful if you asked them about things they'd dealt with. After going through the reset/reload routine five times in three weeks, I gave up and sent the thing back.

I am so pleased with how well the TX runs all the programs I have. The TX is most certainly the best PDA I've ever had.

The palm tx was just what I was looking for. I am a pharmacist and I was tired of looking in multiple places for information. Now I have it all at my fingertips. With a few programs loaded on the pda, or using the wifii I can find the answer to almost any question with a few taps of the stylus. I also travel with it to reamain in e-mail contact.
Good, but have better access to the internet

The TX is superior to the Zire 72 I used to have, and overall is a very good product for a fair price. I'm only disappointed with the internet access. For example, the screen size is perfect for videos, but the TX does not open YouTube videos. Also, it would be great if it had a mic so that I could use Skype.

Better than my old Palm 2008-04-07
I had a Palm Zire that was starting to act up, so I got a T/X. It is much better and I like to be able to use MS Word and Excel. The case that comes with it is just fine. Some small problems getting good with Vista, but it all worked out. Getting on the internet was good, too. I didn't have to carry a heavy laptop on a recent trip.
Pleased but 2008-04-06
I am very pleased with this product, I have owned several Palms in the past with the last one being the T-3 and this one out performs the previous palms hands down. The case is the same as I had purchased with
the palm V so I was quite familiar with the case and it is perfect.
I was even able to get a previously purchased wireless keyboard to work with the Palm TX that would not work with the T-3.
My only but, is that the screen when accessing the internet does not
format for better viewing to which I am researching for an solution.
Cheesy Hardcase 2008-03-28
The palm TX worked as expected. The hard case, however, was the cheapest thing I've ever seen. The case is just "metalized" plastic and the latch is hard to work. After two weeks the latch finally broke and now the case will not stay closed. Very disappointed in the case. Just buy the handheld and forget the bundle.
Don't buy anything from Palm unless you can afford to loose all the data you record on their device.

I purchased a LIFEDRIVE from Palm and I was immediately thrilled with it and I rated it 5 stars. I purchased a metal protective case for it and I purchased a special remote alpha/numeric keypad. I thought it was the greatest of all the Palm devices I had ever purchased! Having left a positive feedback on this purchase I am no longer allowed to make any further comments for this specific item.
But now I have lost ten years of vital data. The LIFEDRIVE was defective. I had been buying Palm products every since they had a memory of only half a megabyte. Now I have lost all personal and business information that I acquired over all these last ten years. And when I call them for help they demanded money to simply look into the problem saying they would not be responsible for the cost of any lost data.
