Convenient headphone adaptor
2008-07-03
The phone should really come with a headphone jack. That fact aside, this adaptor is a good way to have an analog stereo output, and a way to charge/link with a computer.
A good product.
the adapter wobbles alot.
2008-06-12
its very wobbly, and I feel like it could easily break, as happened to this person: http://www.amazon.com/review/R9ZQLA7GLY1TV/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm
I'm not saying I have a better solution, but just that it wobbles more than I'd like it to.
There's also a compatability problem with the newest mogul rom, as others have stated. There is a work-around though: simply start your music, plug in the adapter to the phone, and lastly plug in your headphones.
Nice little product

It provides a great value for the price. can plugin the pwer cord and the fm transmitter at the same time and hence makes life easier while listening to the internet radio.
The 8525/8925 are PHONES, too
2008-06-09
Why is everyone giving this thing such glowing reviews, yet ignoring the fact that plugging this in disables the 8525/8925's usefulness as a TELEPHONE? I'm sending money to AT&T every month for the priviledge of running this device, so I'd like to be able to use it as a telephone. "You have to unplug this if you want to use it as a phone." Come on. That kind of negates its usefulness as a hands free device. If this little plug had a microphone in it (to make up for the microphone it mutes when its plugged in), it'd be a neat little device. Without it, its half-a'd.
Going back for 2nds...

Would give it 5 stars, but it needed to be tweaked a bit to get a consistent signal on my ATT TilT. Since I can't use bluetooth headphones in flight, this is a "must have" for travel. I was very happy with the first one until my 2 year old snapped it while removing it from the phone :-(
Works but clunky

3.5mm Stereo Audio Multi Adapter allows you to connect your PDA phone to multiple devices for music listening, charging, and data sync. Multi Adapter has 2 ports which enables you to connect to 2 devices at the same time: (1) 3.5mm port for connecting any stereo headphones, speakers or sound system with a standard audio 3.5mm input jack and (2) 5-pin mini USB port for charging and data sync cable. Now you can use your own high quality headphone for music listening. You can also easily sync and charge the phone with inexpensive mini-USB cable.
Great product

I bought this adapter for my car, earbugs and plug in stereo speakers. I play music from my VX6900 through my car audio system, my earbugs and my stereo speakers at work, and this adapter also coverts my car audio and plut in stereo speakers into a speaker phone, and my earbugs into a headset. I would definitely recommend it.
2 in 1 mini USB adapter

What awesome sound out of the AT&T Tilt phone with this adapter.
Not very high priced either. Locally cost would be triple what I payed online.

Terrible Product
2008-04-17
A really terrible product. First time out of the bag, tried it on my expensive new Tilt and the thing gets stuck on my cell phone. I could not pull it off. Eventually it came off only after breaking off and leaving a small metallic sleeve inside the mini UBS port. I had to pull out the remainder with a set of pliers. Because I was so careful and patient, my mini USB port still works. I suggest the sellers test this product in their cell phones before they send them out to their customers. It's not even worth returning it.
