Superb noice isolation ear-buds 2008-08-04
Although these are not noise canceling ear buds, they work very well at blocking out background noise. I use these at work and they help muffle the neighboring conversations around me.

The build quality is very good. I like the extra ear bud pieces included. The case is of so-so design but I just wrap the cord around my media player anyway. The sound is also very good. Highs and lows are reproduced accurately.

You can't beat the price on this JVC ear bud set.

JVC HAFX66 - Earbud plugs - Only downside... 2008-05-20
Great product - all headphone manufacturers should be following this good example (as long as they can afford to compete with cheaper alternatives).
ONLY PROBLEM - Is as already mentioned - very easy to lose the silicon rubber part that sits on top of the earbud probe. I lost mine this morning when I took them out of my ears - only used them firsdt time today and looking for spares. Hope I can find some spares after paying a higher price for them - not only bought in a retail shop but also in the UK !!!
You can turn up the volume to virtually highest setting (dependent on your device) and even in the quitest area you are in - no-one around you can hear a thing coming from your music device !!!! Even taking them out of your ears - holding in your hands, you can't hear yourself as proof - ok if you have BLASTING music coming out at higher volumes and you are partly deaf then nothing will block this out.

Good but wonder about the durability... 2008-04-01
I really like the sound of these buds. Add the fact that they don't cost very much and it's a good deal.

However, after 1 month of heavy use (daily for about 2 hours), one of the rubber ear buds started to become loose and would fall off sometimes in my ear and other times on the floor. And finally, last night, it was gone... it just dropped off somewhere unknown.

Hope I can get JVC to send me a little rubber thingy...

Great sound. Especially for price 2008-01-19
I've been using these daily for about three months now. They have a comfortable fit, and a good sound to them. The bass isn't extreme, but it is just the right amount. And the highs come in clearly. Although they can start to get uncomfortable after extended periods (3 hours or more usually). The sound isolation is pretty good. When you put them in, just make sure they are in your ear good and snug. If not, it will sound like there is no bass. Tune the EQ just right, and these will sound excellent.
