Great vise when you're working with limited space!

I purchased this vise when looking for a removable vise for my workbench in the garage. I was working with limited space, so I needed an option that allowed me to move it if I needed more room. I also wanted something that could hold things at various angles. I read up on the suction-type vises and found that they didn't get favorable reviews, so I took my chances on this item. The price was right at ~$30 shipped and it was a "name brand". After unpacking it, I was pleased at the quality of the item. After using it for a month, it works exactly as intended and has met all of my needs. It's not too large, but it is sturdy, strong and easily manipulated for different angles. I would definitely buy this again and would not hesitate to recommend it if you need something temporary or are working with limited space.

I really enjoyed this product and it worked extremely well. It broke after 2 weeks of light use, I have sent it back and I am waiting for Stanley to send me a new one.

This little vise is unique. It's nearly infinite adjustment capabilities combined with reasonable strength and build quality for such a light vise make it extremely useful, and an excellent value.
Handy Vise for Small Jobs

Handy vise attaches to any table surface quickly and the swivel design lets me hold things at any angle to work on. This is not a large vise that you can use with a hammer to bend or straighten metal and such, but its great to hold wood for sanding or wire for soldering.

I've been looking for something like this for a long time. As a smallish vise that can be easily clamped to any table (the table clamp surfaces are rubber coated too) and securely hold small to medium sized pieces at *any* angle it's nearly perfect. The only things I'd change would be to make the jaws a little deeper and add knurls to the clamp faces (which have nifty removable rubber pads and a nice V cut for gripping round pieces). Those changes would just make a great product even better though. I haven't been able to find anything close to this and I've done a lot of searching.

Works great. Clamps easily to desk or tabletop, swivels easily to the best angle for the work at hand, and the soft faces on the vise hold without marking. I use it with my Dremel tool to work on small projects, and it's a big help!
