Great Service
2008-08-06
I am mainly ranking the service from Health Warehouse. I buy the syringes for my diabetic cat--the price is great, and he doesn't complain. I am very impressed with the service from Health Warehouse. I just received my second order from them. The first order arrived in three days. And I had ordered enough to receive free shipping--I was very impressed that they still shipped priority. We are now living overseas (military, using an APO address). I've placed several orders for different items with different companies--some free shipping, some I paid big bucks for shipping. I've been waiting over a month for several of the packages to arrive. I figured I'd better get my order for more syringes placed even though I still had a 50-day supply. I placed the order, and I could not believe it arrived in 5 days!! I was actually kind of disappointed to see the syringes had arrived--I was hoping it was one of the packages I had been waiting a month for.
Great inexpensive alternative to BD
2008-06-24
When I realized that my prescription co-pay was actually higher than the regular price of syringes, it was time to do a little shopping around. BD syringes seem to be the standard (I've used them, and other than the price would recommend them), but are much more expensive than alternatives such as Monoject and EasyTouch. Having tried both Monoject and EasyTouch, I would put EasyTouch on par with BD, with Monoject as a serviceable but less favored alternative.
For those who use injection aids such as Inject-Ease or Autoject, EasyTouch is definitely the way to go. Those products seem to be designed with BD syringes in mind and the shape of the syringe (in particular the two flanges that extend to the side at the top) determine whether the syringe will fit properly in the device. The shape of the EasyTouch syringe mimics the BD syringe and will fit in these injection aids in the same way. The Monoject syringes are shaped somewhat differently and won't work properly (or fit at all in the Inject-Ease) in these devices. I also found that the Monoject syringes took more effort to get those last little air bubbles out than did the EasyTouch or BD syringes.
Finally, since this is being sold by a 3rd party vendor I will say that Health Wearhouse shipped promptly and I had no problems with the order.
Easy Touch Syringes
2008-02-08
Very fast service. The box was sealed as well as every 10 syringes were in a seperate sealed bag within the box.
Great service/item not what expected
2007-11-15
The service was quick and efficient, but the item although very inexpensive, was also very low quality.
