FLIP IS ULTRA EASY AND FUN

I bought the FLIP Ultra series camcorder and I love it. I found it to be easy from the beginning. The instructions were simple and the diagram was clear. The only thing that was a challenge at first was the downloading and immediate need to edit using a PC. I understand that it was much easier on an Apple, but I have now figured that out and it works just fine. It also gives you an option to be email ready which I found particularly helpful.

Great little camcorder and it is worth more than the price. No regrets!

Exceeds expectations

Video quality is great.
Easy to download and share videos.
We take it everywhere is small and convenient.
We're still on our first set of batteries and have used it alot in the first month.
For the price you can't beat it, I've told all of my friends to buy one.

Wonderful fun little camera!

I love this camera. The only reason I've given it only 4 stars is that I haven't yet used all the features on it. From what I've read here, they all work very well. So far I've bought 5 Flip Videos: 1 for me, 2 for my sons, and 2 more for my sons to replace the first 2 that were lost in a fire. What I think is the really great thing about Flip Video is that for a very small price you can get a video camera to play with and find out if you want to spend more on something more sophisticated. It's small enough to have with you all the time.

Portable Camcorder With Great Looks, Function, and Simplicity

The Flip Video Ultra is a product I am very happy to have purchased. I previously used an old model Sony camcorder that my dad bought at a pawn shop. I would mostly capture footage of me and my friends weekend parties and the occasional trip. While effective, it became a problem when others asked to see the footage and I could only show them in person due to the old tape format.
This problem has been solved with the Flip Video Ultra. Now I can capture video and instantly plug its usb port into a computer for easy uploading with the included software. The video captured is of decent quality with a 2x zoom when needed, and up to 60 minutes of video can be captured at a time.
This camcorder fits in your hand and has a simple yet stylish design that is sleek and modern. In addition the cell-phone size of this camcorder makes it very convenient to carry in a pocket, and can go wherever you go. This makes capturing great moments an easy process whether you're on vacation or going out. Best of all, the price is affordable and definately well worth the purchase!

Truly simple

The Flip Ultra Series Camcorder is truly as simply as it seems and sounds. Not only is it simple, but the video quality is quite nice and the ultra portibility is an added bonus.

The camera has a 1.3 second start-up time which is really useful. I brought this camera with me to France and the short start-up time lead me to get some pretty amazing shots.

The interface (as far as buttons go) is extremely simple. My grandmother could use this product. And speaking of simplicity, the camera's built-in USB stick is excellent because you no longer have to fiddle around with a USB cord.

The quality of the video is also excellent especially considering the price of the camera.

I did, though, have a little bit of trouble loading the videos onto my laptop with the built-in program with which the camera comes. The software locked up on me and I had to restart my computer. This only happened once, though.

The software is also fairly simple to use.

All in all, this camera is an excellent camera for those who are looking for portablity, ease, and something within thier budget.

I love this camcorder- It's simple to use and the picture/sound quality is very good. Especially the light-adjusting feature. The small zoom kind of annoys me, but the fact that it has any zoom on such a small innovation is great. Highly reccomended!
By the way, It's a lot smaller-looking in real life than in pictures. I love the colors, too.

EASY TO USE! A LOT FOR THE MONEY!

My background includes many years working in industrial and promotional videos using very high quality equipment. Technology has brought down the price of high-quality video to almost everyone. No, this is not a broadcast quality but it is certainly a marvelous camera! I bought it for my son's 13th birthday because he wanted to make some videos and post them on You Tube. I was really amazed at the color quality, the resolution and even the audio! Not bad at all for a camera that I purchased for just over $100!

This is a great camera to take someplace where you don't want to lug a camcorder bag around, such as a theme park. It's lightweight and it does a pretty decent job of capturing video.

I highly recommend the Flip Ultra. It's truly a bargain!

Every Mom Needs One!

This is the best thing ever! I only wish I had heard about it sooner! I absolutely LOVE it! It is small-- fits in my purse or pocket so I can catch special moments of my kids at any time. Soooo easy to use! The night I opened it, I made a couple video clips, downloaded and made a Blog to share with family-- and I'm NOT techno-savy either! I'm so excited about this product!!!!

This is the easiest to use camera I've ever had.
Quality of video and audio is superb.
Because it looks like a digital camera, you can probably sneak it in to places that don'e allow video cameras.
Really, neat.
