Wonderful!

These headphones are quite nice, quite nice indeed. First off, their appearance is great. They're so spiffy! Secondly, the produce a clear sound, allowing you to listen to your music in a whole new way. And thirdly, they block out any outside noise that may be trying to ruin your music session.
If you're not a serious music listener, however, I wouldn't recommend these bad boys for you. They're a bit expensive, but deliver a solid performance. And also, if you become disappointed that they break, you must realize that nothing lasts forever. Sorry to burst your bubble.
But yay for V-MODA! Great products.
Great Sound

I purchased these because I cannot wear the earphones that usually come with ipod or MP3 products. They hurt my ears and are so uncomfortable I'm miserable. These work just great for me. The sound is good and the fit is too. I love this color and even better it is less expensive that if I bought them in black. Extra benefit!!!
Wonderful Sound / Poor Durability

Bought one pair for my wife's iPhone and we liked it so much bought a second pair for me. After about 4-6 weeks of use, both pairs failed, the symptom being one earbud stopped producing sound. For awhile, you could jiggle the wire near the plug and reestablish the sound. This "workaround" eventually stopped working too. V-Moda seems good about replacing the defective earbuds. We currently have both sets on the replacement journey. Based on their shipping, the entire process takes about 2 weeks from when you ship the defective earbuds back to them (you pay the return costs). Hopefully they have found the weak link and the replacement earbuds will last.
Great Headphones!

The V-moda Vibe headphones are awesome! These are by far the best noise cancelling headphones I have bought. The sound quality is great for any type of music. I would definitely recommend these headphones for someone who works out or just listens to music. The V-moda Vibe headphones are worth the money! They also offer the V-Moda Bass Freq which gives your music that extra bass!
Great while it lasted

The sound was great but the rubber around the plug ripped and exposed the wire. If you use your earbuds as much as I do, get one with a different kind of plug. The kind with the L shaped rubber with the "flex" ribs. This just had too much stress on the cable.
I loved it while it lasted though. Paid way too much for earbuds that only last a year though.
Not particularly sturdy

Excellent Sound, But Not Built for Me

I had these for approximately 6 months. They sound spectacular. However after a few months of carrying them on my person with their pouch the cords frayed and broke right underneath the buds, revealing copper wire. These sound so amazing but are not worth the heartache.
Better than Bose

The last pair of headphones I owned was the Bose TriPort headphones (the ones that go over the ear and fit around them) and I am so very impressed at the fact that these little buds are more powerful than these massive cans! I was a little skeptical at first because 'V-moda, who the *$%# are these guys?' But my Bose garbagephones left channel quit working after 6 months of use. As I looked at the flimsy rubber that connected the cord to the jack, it reminded me exactly like a pair of headphones for $2.99 on the clearance rack. No wonder they stopped working, they are built like garbage! I saw the cord design of the V-Moda's and I thought "now this makes sense, a straight plug held together by metal housing!". The colors match my iPod's case, they are tiny, and extremely lightweight. Even at first use I was blown away by the quality of sound, the bass is extremely powerful; a much more powerful punch than the Bose, but not so powerful to the point where it distorts any midrange and highs. The soundstage is completely enveloping; the moment I put these headphones on, they fit perfectly in my ears and sucked out a good chunk of outside noise (not perfectly isolating, but adequate for quality sound, better than the Bose). Upon first wearing them, they felt uncomfortable at first, almost a painful uncomfortable, but I just needed to change the fitting to the next size up, then no problems. They say that you have to 'burn them in' by letting them run for 12 hours, After using them for about 6, the sound is getting better and better. The bass at first is overpowering, but the mids and treble start mixing themselves in and you get a perfect blend of truly blissful sound. The soundstage of the bose over-the-ear headphones had space to resonate around the ear, and that created a unique soundstage, but bass notes at certain frequencies felt inconsistent, by comparison to the Vibes, the sound is straight-to-the-cranium intense. Sound is very incredible, perfect for portable music players. Other, more expensive headphones obviously will get a more 'genuine' sound, but I couldn't imagine what more you could want when using an MP3 player.
VERY good earbuds so far.....

I just got them today, plugged them into my laptop to play an orchestral piece. It was a bit bass heavy for my taste. The Shure E2 was a lot clearer for my taste when listening to classical. Now, I'm sure if I used them on my iPod and change the EQ settings I probably can get the sound I want. But the box did say that it's bass heavy, so maybe not.
Aside from my own preference these earbuds are great. I'm sure listening to other styles would be awesome. I'll write a review again when I use it on the train listening to jazz, hiphop, rock and bluegrass.
I just a review that it needs time to break in, so the sound may be different after 2 days.
Happy Listening

Perfect fit, painless - excellent choice to replace the earbuds that come with the iPod.
