Perfect

This is about as inexpensive as they get, it takes up almost no space and all of the five devices I've tried with it work well. Unless you really need more than the three extra ports this affords you, it's ideal.
Good little mini hub

It has its own USB cord tucked (very short) into a slot for it on its back side. It's small and requires no additional power so it's great for traveling with my laptop. Has worked well for a couple of months now.
Casual dude who still does the work

All I needed was a couple of extra USB ports, and this one was 3-4 times lower in price than the comparable D-Link. It performs as well, I'm sure, but it's very light and small. With a shorty cable that neatly packs away into the back of the device, it's ideal for storing in a laptop case. Using it with my desktop, I've had to settle for having it hang somewhat indecorously on the back of my computer--a side no one sees, so no big deal. Nevertheless, a longer cord would enable it to rest on the same surface as the computer; or the replacement of the cord by an extension arm would enable it to rest secure again the back of the computer, much like a multiple adapter that's plugged into an AC outlet. All the same, I didn't design it, and I didn't pay much for it. No complaints, no regrets, I'm tired of placing big bets, here's to a self-powered mini hub!
Works just fine

Very simple, plug it in to any USB 2.0 port and it works. Simple, smart, and a very good price

Performance for the price

I bought this USB 2 HUB for it's cheap. One obvious problem is the short cable which prevens it from resting properly on th desk. The laptop often complaints that I need to connect the peripheral to a USB 2 port, it seems that somehow acts as if it is a USB 1.1 HUB. However, for the price no real complaints.
Does the job

This unpowered 4-port USB 2.0 hub looks and feels cheap -- made in China -- and the soldered-on USB cable is really short. But's it's small, convenient and provides solid transfer speed. Because it's unpowered you must use it on a powered USB port -- I actually use a USB 2.0 extension cord from PC and it works totally great. I bought 4 of these babies and always bring one with me wherever I go.
GOOD STUFF

Works fine nice and compact, could have used a longer cord, make sure and purchase an extension.
