Just what I needed

I purchased the starter set (1 main w/extra handset) at a local store and ordered additional hand sets. It was easy to set-up and integrate into my existing system.

Cheap-Feeling Phone

My initial impression was that this was some sort of toy phone. It is incredibly cheap-feeling when you lift it up.
The buttons are pretty badly designed, the menu system is hard to manipulate and counter-intuitive, and the phone doesn't display the time when on standby.
The phone does have a useful 'auto-answer' feature that allows you to answer the phone as soon as you pick it up off of the charging cradle. The phone had pretty good range and wall penetration due to the DECT frequency range.
If your phone supports a higher-quality handset, I highly recommend you try something else. This handset works fine as a basic phone, but there are better designed phones by Uniden or other competitors.

the first telephone I got didn't work correctly, I couldn't get the battery to charge enough and then the phone to register, so I returned it and they resent me a new one. I don't like the fact that I had to pay the shipping and handling to return the defective product especially since i sent it certified requesting a signature so I would know it was received. It cost me an additional $11 to mail it back. If there is someway to get a refund I would be much happier. The second phone I got finally worked, so far I am satisfied with it, just not happy with the customer service I encounterd from the shipper.

This hand set resides in my den and i get crystal clearl reception.
I love the update of the phone book to all the other hand sets i have 2 others this is just so great .phone is easy to use so long as you at least read the manual one lol.I would recommend this phone to any body who has never had a dect phone the difference is amazing .

Expansion handset found the base right away and has worked flawlessly. Does not cause any interference with my wireless network and has exceptional battery life.

I have had these phone's for about six months. I got the phone and it took an abnomal amount of time to charge. I then kept getting and out of range signal (Sitting right by the base). I called customer service,which took about 30 mins to get a represenative, they then told me how to reset the phone so you wouldn't get this again....It didn't work. I have reset these phone's 10+ times. In six months of use, now the phone book and caller Id pad no longer function. I also get the complaint that people say I'm fading in and out and sometimes sound as if I'm underwater. Waste of money! Now it needs replaced.

I needed an extra cordless phone, and this fit the bill. It works with my other Uniden DECT phones.I like the features it has. It is very easy to use.

I just bought the main phone and enough extentions phones for every room in our house but only the main one is hooked into a phone line the others just plug into electricity. I love this, I even have one in the bathroom now I don't have to carry a cordless phone in my pocket all day. Great phone and I can hear real good with this phone. Great Purchase I give it a ""5"".
