BOUGHT FOR A GIFT FOR MOM WHO LIVES IN RURAL GEORGIA. SHE NEEDED LIGHT FOR PAKING AND SAFETY FOR PROPERTY. SHE LOVES THE LIGHT. SHE SAYS IT IS VERY BRIGHT! NOW WE ALL FEEL SAFER.

The thought of SOLAR power, especially in Florida, is a wonderful concept! Or so I thought.
The light does not charge enough to stay lit AND once it has been activate it continues to flash on and off (15-30 second intervals) til it runs out of 'juice.'
The idea of these lights at least for me is for good protection against intruders. And when installing them, they have to be put up high enough so someone can't reach up and either unscrew the bulb or destroy it.
Imagine it being up THAT high & then having the light flash on and off all night. The only way to stop it is to get a ladder and turn it off.
Never again! I've gone back to electrical!

This product worked for a few months, then completely died. I had to go online and say something. Very disappointed. Try battery operated systems instead. The solar tech isn't there yet.
Good light for those places without electricity nearby.

This light works well. I charged it for four days like the directions said. I followed the directions when hanging it and adjusting the sensitivity. I'm very pleased with the results. It looks good and works like it should. My back stairs are much safer now.
Cooper Lighting MSL180 Motion Activated Solar Flood Light 2008-02-10
I installed this solar light 6 weeks ago, I mounted it on a shed in the back yard where there is no power. Easy to install and lights up the area very well, I am very pleased with the results. I highly recommend it.
