Better than standard Apple headphones 2008-05-24
First of all, I took off a star because I have to constantly push these headphones back in. Now to my review...

These are excellent headphones! When properly positioned, they deliver thumping bass response and superb sound isolation. They are currently my headphones of choice out of the five pairs I own.

The headphones come with three pairs of differently-sized cushions (for lack of a better word), small, medium, and large. I like the large ones, but I think I might switch to medium.

Overall, buy these headphones if you are tired of having to turn the volume up to drown out your surroundings or if you listen to music with a lot of bass. If you don't mind pushing them back in every other minute, these headphones are for you.

Apple Ear Buds!!! 2008-05-22
This product arrived carefully packaged, and in wonderful condition. Because my ears are sensitive, I could not use the earphones that came with my iPOD, and so I needed to order ones that would fit comfortably in my ears. This is a wonderful product, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of comfortable earphones.

Excellent noise canceling at a resonable cost 2008-05-02
Although I like my Apple issued Earbuds very much, they let in too much outside noise when I take my walks. These In-Ear Headphones do a surprisingly good job of shutting out a great deal of unwanted outside sound while sacrificing little to quality. Sure, with these extremely small speakers, they do not quite match the performance of the larger Earbuds but isn't life about the art of compromise? And, last but not least, they represent terrific value at their current price.

Not what you would want to put in your ears. 2008-04-26
Although these headphones are comfortable, they make you feel like they're about to fall out of your ears. That's not a feeling anyone would want to feel.. Also, the sound is terrible, for the headphones barely go in pass the ear flap. It's as if you're listening to the normal Apple headphones from a couple of inches away. If you're looking for good headphones, buy the normal ones.

K. Queen 2008-04-15
I bought his as a replacement for the one came with my iPod. The sound quality is poor(I listen to classical music). The sound is tinny in higher register. The fit is another problem. The small ones fall out of my ear, mid-size one is too tight, etc. I'm disappointed.

Apple ipod Headphones 2008-07-16
I bought this product so I can avoid outside noise. However; compared with the set of headphones that came with the unit, this headphone is inferior in sound. The speaker is much smaller and you lose quality, especially bass. Better to stick with something on line that comes with the unit that is larger in speaker size.

Very surprised Apple would put their name on this product 2008-07-11
I purchased these to try to see if they might offer a more snug fit than the ones that came with the iPod. To my disappointment, the fit is about the same. But,the real shock was the poor sound quality. I compared the original phones with these many times, but this product sounds painfully tinny, and has very little full base and mid-range. Despite adjusting the iPod EQ to many settings, I couldn't get rid of the tinny sound.

Very poor design 2008-07-03
I bought them to replace a great pair of Sony's that sound great but have a poor cord design that has to go around the neck. I bought these an the Apple store and they are terrible. For those who have no trouble with them staying in your ears that's great but for me even using the smallest tips they not only don't go in far enough they keep popping out. They will be returned post haste.

great sound, but won't stay in ears while running 2008-06-30
Yeah, I read other reviews that described specific ways you lift the top of your ear to secure the earbud in your ear to make it stay in, but my ears are small and these just won't stay in while I am running. I am bummed, because the sound is really good, and otherwise, I like them.

Great headphones, Bad for Running 2008-06-06
I bought these to replace the ear buds that came with my iPod (those really hurt my ears!). These are much more comfortable, and I like their music quality, but they constantly slip out of my ears when I run. For a normal pair of headphones for walking around/commuting, these are great, but they're definitely not for exercise. I'll be investing in another pair that wraps around my head.
