Toshiba qosmio

This is a pretty cool computer with great media features BUT it has the poorest battery life ever and it's always overheating, not to mention it weighs a ton.

Although the screen is bright and the sound is amazing I still Will not recommend.

Nothing But Trouble

I have had nothing but trouble with this Qosmio computer. Don't buy it.
No support either period from Toshiba..they just keep referring me
to Microsoft.

Save yourself lots of time, money, and headaches. Don't Buy Toshiba.

Very good but some rough edges

Good quality built, great screen brightness and excellent sound (Harman Kardon speakers with subwoofer make a difference ).
Performance is very good with a fast CPU, 2 Gigs of RAM and 300 Gb HDD. It is good to have Vista Ultimate so you can log in to a domain in work and have media center as well at home.

I have not tried it in 3D intensive apps that push the graphic card.

In my opinion it has only a couple weak points: 1) short battery life (always less than 2 hours no matter how I tried to tweak it, and about one hour in full power mode), 2) a very big and heavy power adaptor (about the double of my previous Satellite) ,and the Qosmio is a bit big and heavy for a 15.4" notebook compared to the Satellites.

In summary : A powerful laptop that sacrifices some portability and battery life.
