This combo TV has satisfied all our needs: DVD with HDTV in the 26" size. Great picture, good DVD, and the sound is more than adequate. Reproduces in 710p and 1080i with good color and no distortion. So far our research and subsequent choice have paid off. 6Ave Electronics, the Amazon vendor, was excellent in packaging and delivery.

This was a 3rd party sale. Amazon was basically a middle man, but the TV is just great. The REGZA models are highly rated in Consumer Reports, and the clarity and contrast are worth the money. The integrated DVD player is SWEET, and tho not set up for blu-ray, it will play HD. It's installed on the left side of the unit, and isn't even visible from the front, and the remote is fully compatible. A great item for a nook or bedroom area.

I shopped around for a long time prior to making this purchase and I am very pleased. The picture quality is great with options of movie, sports,etc formatting. The sound quality is good and so was the price.

I had this t.v. for less than TWO WEEKS before the integrated DVD player broke. Because it was under warranty, I loaded the t.v. into the car and drove it to the repair shop. After waiting 5 days on its status, I was told that the DVD would need to be replaced and that it was on back-order for at least 6 weeks. Meanwhile the t.v. had to stay at the shop and was inoperable. The repairman said that the TV/DVD combo is very unreliable--his suggestion would be to buy a stand-alone LCD and an inexpensive DVD player instead. I am returning to Amazon ASAP and buying another t.v.
4:3 or 16:9 Aspect Ratio?

I have read some contradicting information (including on CNET) that the aspect ratio of this TV is 4:3, as opposed to 16:9 that is stated in the limited specs that Amazon provides.
Looking at the image of the TV, it appears to be 16:9.
Can anyone confirm?

Another great toshiba lcd 2008-07-13
This is the third Toshiba lcd in a year: one for the living room, one for the kitchen and this one for the screened-in porch. Like the other two, this one has a great picture, excellent sound and worked right out of the box. Good price, too.

We own 3 of these sets 2 32 inch and 1 26 inch and all 3 sets give great pictures have all the features that I need. Would recommend these sets to anyone
