This paper shredder is the best one i have owed, it does everthing it is advertised to do. I would reconmend this if you are looking for a paper shredder for the home.

Shredder is very quiet and will shred 12 pages. I will say that the first one I received was defective, but Fellowes sent me a replacement within 10 days. Best shredder I have ever used.

Fellowes 3227901 Intellishred PS-79Ci Shredder
I am delighted with this Shredder. I was replacing a old Fellows Shredders that still worked after many years, but it could only shred a couple of pages at a time. The new PS-79Ci is superb. It is also quiet and doesn't take up a lot of room.

Nice features and capacity to shred paper, cd's, credit cards, etc.
If you need a little more 'horsepower' for your shredding needs, this is a good value.

I bought this PS-79Ci shredder because I needed to replace my old Fellowes shredder which was very noisy. It cann't feed more than three sheets to shred and it gets jam when I put a credit card. Before I bought this shredder, I already read all the reviews that helped me to choose the right product. I am very satisfied with this shredder. It's ultra quite and nice design. It can move around easily with a wheel bottom. I would recommend this product to everyone.
Like shredder, having bag issues 2008-07-05
I really like the performance of this shredder. My only issue is bag removals, I find the bags hang up on inside plastic protrusions which are somewhat sharp, causing bags to rip. I have put duct tape over these protrusions on one side, but not on other side. Any suggestions or similar problems?

I've been using my new shredder for 3 weeks now and I could not be happier with it. It works just the way they said it would and, under normal use, it has not jammed. I did test it to see how far I could push it and it held up better then any other shredder I've ever used. The housing is sturdy, even with the bin out. Follow the guidelines of use and you will not have problems.
The only thing I would change is having more information in the manual about how and where to apply the oil. I don't think that is enough to dock a star so 5 it is!

I had such a rare customer service experience I could not let it pass without a public compliment. In a nutshell, I wrote to Fellowes complaining about a problem I encountered with two shredders. I did not ask for anything, but I wanted someone to know that there was a problem with the shredder.
To my utter surprise, I was contacted directly by Mr. Fellowes and without excuses, recognized the problem and solved it on the spot.How refreshing it is to deal with a company that where the principal is directly involved and customer service is not farmed out to some third party in a foreign country.
