The world is alive with the sounds of music but you often want to choose your own. There's more than one portable digital-media music player to consider owning. And in the shuffle of it all, the Sandisk Sansa MP3 player is gaining a larger audience. The colorful Sansa Clip is a tiny MP3 player that boasts an array of cool features, as well as distinctively big sound for its small size. Perfect for the fitness buff or traveler, the compact Sansa Clip comes with a fashionable clip for wearing anywhere. The Sansa Clip MP3 player is designed for a music connoisseur who wants the ability to choose his/her own music sources and enjoys listening. Open up to the Sansa Clip! Requires Windows XP SP2 or Vista Operating System and Windows Media Player 10 or 11 on PC to transfer download of music to Sansa through a USB port 2GB holds up to 500 MP3 songs or up to 1000 WMA songs (4 minutes each average)

A tiny player... that Rocks! 2008-06-23
This little player was a big surprise to me. Have you ever seen a super tiny electronic device that seems to do more than is possible for it's tiny size? Well, this certainly fits into that category. To illustrate how tiny this thing is, the size of the circular dial on the front of it (the blue glowing circle) is slightly smaller than a quarter. The player itself is super thin too. So here are a few more reasons why this player is amazing:

Pros:
-Super Tiny and Thin
-Sound quality is great
-Built in Radio
-Built in Microphone
-Built in Clip (hence the name) and perfect for jogging
-Super bright 2 color Led Screen (it's probably organic LED)
-Plug & Play (at least it was for me)... just like a USB drive
-Long lasting internal battery (my guess is at least 8 hours play time)
-Charges through standard Mini-usb to USB cable.
-Amazing price for all the features it includes.

Cons:
I honestly don't have anything bad to say about this player, and I swear that I don't work for Sandisk. I kind of collect MP3 players and also own the Creative Zen Vision and Zen Muvo^2.

Conclusion: If you are thinking about buying an Ipxd shuffle or replacing your shuffle, this player is perfect for your needs and is so much better than a shuffle. It is easier to use, has more features, and sounds better! Not to mention it also has a LED screen. Plus, you don't have to deal with Itunes. Just plug this baby in, drag some songs from your computer and you're done. And yes, it does have a "Shuffle" play mode which includes "Repeat tracks" or "Play once" options. This little player really is a marvel of modern tech... I hope someday they will sell one with 60GB of memory. Now that... would Rock! For now, they only come in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB... I think.

Great mp3 player! 2008-06-14
Love the size of this Sansa. Sound quality is better than it's competitor, the ipod shuffle. 2 GB is great, holds over 450 songs. It doesn't "shuffle" the music but rather plays in alphabetical order by SONG TITLE. I kinda like that.
You'll love it, especially for the price!!!

sandisk clip 2008-06-12
We have had the clip for about 2 months so far it is worked better than the other sansa products. It has had the buttons stick on occasion but other than that it has worked fine.

VERY HAPPY 2008-06-07
I purchased the clip for my son and liked it so well, I bought one for myself too. It loads quickly and is super compact, great value!

Easy! Easy! Easy! 2008-06-02
No fuss no bother. Plug it in to the USB port, save some MP3s to your computer's hard drive from your CDs (etc.), drag and drop them to the Sansa, set the radio stations, and go!. Being over 60 I am not patient with technology. The Clip barely needs a manual. Those who need complex technical pain before they can enjoy listening won't like it. If you just want to load and listen to your music, this is the one.
Two drawbacks: non-replacable battery, and battery charging only via USB port. The relatively inexpensive price takes away some of the pain of knowing that it will some day die with your music onboard. If you save your music on your computer, reloading to a replacement will however be easy. A wall/car charger would be a good investment although the (slow) USB charge seems to last 12-15 hours.

Bad battery 2008-07-17
I purchased this for my sister as a gift (she loves these electronic gadgets, but she is still in college so she can't afford to buy them for herself.) At first she loved it. She went on about how great all the features are. Then about 3 months after I gave it to her the battery stopped holding a charge. Great item if you get one with a good battery, but based on this experience I won't be purchasing an item from SanDisk again. I'll spend a little more on her birthday next year and spring for an iPod.

Great Little player! 2008-07-17
I was looking for something simple just for my music. I had bought my daughters the Creative Labs Zen 2gb and 4gb and they good too, but this one is so much easier to load with music and the sound is phenomenal! It has a built in clip so there is no need to buy anything extra. I wear it while doing yard work walking etc and it gives me what I want - my favorite songs, no skips, freezes for breaks.

I know it can do more that just store and play music, but I have a laptop computer for that! I love this little player and the color options make it fun!

Great MP3 Player 2008-07-16
The SanDisk Sansa 2 GB MP3 player is a great buy and is wonderful in so many ways. It is incredibly small and lightweight, easy to navigate & understand, and sounds great too. The included headphones are a little flimsy so I use my own. I also own a Sansa Express that I love and I was sad that this mp3 player doesn't have expandable memory like the Express, but 2 GB should be plenty. Definitely a great buy you won't regret!

Great MP3 Player at Great Price 2008-07-09
I bought this for running, so I needed something lightweight, easy to operate, and can work while moving. It holds plenty of music, is easy to load, delete, and reload, and the battery lasts a long time. The charger to my phone fits, so I can plug it into the wall and charge it quickly. The clip is very convenient; it attaches to my waistband and is so light and little, I forget it's there.

This is a very good value. It works as described and I was impressed with the sound from the earbuds.
