Worthless piece of junk. Didn't last the week. When shipping costs more than the product you might as well throw it in the trash.

I bought this 3 months ago and it worked perfect. But now the audio is all screwed up and it just sounds like static. DO NOT BUY!!!
An unfortunate necessity 2008-06-12
I really love Apple products, but I think they had a brain fart on the iPhone when it came to the head phone jack. Sure it looks nice but it renders all other head phones useless with it until you get this little adaptor. As I said before, it's unfortunate that this thing is needed, but it's great to have if you own and iPhone.

It works well enough, but the material quality is sub-par. The insulation is flimsy and broke quickly. Definitely a "cheapy" product.

For what should be a very simple device, my adapter was obviously poorly constructed. The connections are incorrectly/inadequately wired, such that the sound out of the left channel is distorted.

Not much of a sound loss or any such issue. I am able to use the logitech wired headphones with this adapter for both stereo sound and microphone (for ip telephony and normal iphone calls).

This product works great.... too bad we ever needed it though. Apple needs to fix it's headphone output design.
The product price was great, but the people I bought it from charged me a fortune to have it shipped... so be careful about shipping charges.
