Nice Cordless phone with great look and performance

It's a cordless phone which looks like a cell phone. Great voice quality, battery life, great ring tones.
But I expected little more control to customize the screen. But it is very minor or not to consider.

Almost Perfect, Considering the Price

With all the features afforded to you by this phone, you'd think it cost at least 50% more. Thank God for Panasonic, the manufacturer, and Amazon, who were selling it at an absolutely incredible price. My only complaints, if you can call them that, are the talktime, the charging time, and the phonebook size. The advertised talktime is a little on the high side - you actually get about 6-7 hours off a single charge. If the phone isn't fully drained, it takes almost 8 hours to fully recharge uninterrupted. The phonebook size is a little small - 50 listings - considering who would buy a phone like this. And lastly, as an aside, some kind of Bluetooth or Internet access would have been a nice bonus, especially when considering the versatility and power of the DECT technology. But all these complaints are minor and can be overlooked when you examine the whole package. For $49.95 and free shipping - what a steal of a deal!!!

tiny form factor compared to other wireless handsets.. extremely good clarity [i've tested it upto 100 feet]. could've had speakerphone on the base set [hand set HAS it!!] .. but definitely nothing bad to report [yet?!] about it...

I bought the Panasonic KX-TG8231B with hopes for it to co-exist with my magicjack device and it has worked seamslessly thus far. Sound quality is excellent and it makes for an attractive deskmate. Very glad that I made this purchase!

what the title says.
i was away when it arrived, and my girlfriend was able to take it out of the box and set it up, and she has no idea how to turn on the tv, so that means it's pretty good.
also, i like the voice on the outgoing message so much that i haven't put a personalized message on there yet.

Great sound quality & features 2008-06-27
This phone has the best sound quality of any phone in the house, including my landline! And the sound quality of the voice greeting and the answering system way surpasses ATT Call Notes. It has a brilliant screen, and the features seem very intuitive and easy to figure out (I haven't read the manual). The whole system way surpasses my expectations. Highly recommended.
Bang for the Buck! 2008-06-25
After having my phone die on me, I started checking for the best phone at a reasonable price. I was very pleased when I found this phone. It had all the features I wanted,answering system,DECT technology and the sleekness of a cell phone. I love the lighted screen,the size of the key pad and the sound quality is great. I really feel I got the Bang for my bucks. This is a definate good buy.
Range and clarity are great 2008-06-18
I've used both 900mhz and 2.4ghz, and DECT by far outperforms both in terms of range and clarity. This phone in particular is well made, sounds good (no "tin-ny" or echo-like characteristics), has good battery life and has a small footprint. I have no reservations in recommendinig this phone.
