Amazing! 2008-07-17
This is the most adorable little thing. Who would imagine they can get 8 GB of memory onto something the size of a pinky nail? The bonus for me was the cute little card reader that came with it. It's so much smaller than the adapter for an SD card. It comes with a small lanyard and an easily detachable clip, so you can carry it on your keys. I hooked the lanyard to it but will only use it at home, as I'm using the memory card in my Samsung Instinct. This would be great for transferring work files to & from. Also it should be noted that the card reader is VERY lightweight while still being sturdy.

Works great on Blackberry curve 8310 2008-07-16
Blackberry curve 8310 with 4.2 build recognize only 4gb. If you format this card in Curve you will get only 4gb. Format (ntfs) using Windows and then insert it into blackberry to use the whole 8 gb.

If I go to Options->Media Card -> mine says Total space available 7.5GB

An 8Gb Thumbdrive / MicroSD card for So Little Money 2008-07-14
Works perfectly in my Nokia N95-3. Hey, I've now got a N95 8Gb phone!

This card is an absolute no brainer to buy. If your phone will not accept a MicroSDHC card (you're stuck with a 2Gb limit and you can't return this HC card), you actually just bought an 8Gb USB Thumdrive that is very near the smallest thumbdrive I've ever seen (the Sony MicroVaults in radioactive colors are slightly smaller), for less than the price of most 2Gb thumbdrives.

This thing is a total win - win. The other bright side, when you remove your 512Mb or 1Gb microSD card from your phone, plug that old card into the USB holder and you've now got a USB thumbdrive in 512 or 1Gb.

The reader does make it super fast and simple to transfer content from your old card to your new one. It's absolutely brilliant.

Yes the one single bad thing about this card - the packaging. Yes it is way over packaged. Sandisk really needs to move to the packaging they use for Costco, and drop this darn clamshell nonsense.

Works for my Blackjack 2 2008-07-09
This item fit the bill for my memory storage needs for my blackjack 2.
Data transfers were quick and painless via the included mobilemate reader; plug and play! The reader is pretty tiny as well so those with big fingers may have a little bit of problem trying to remove the sd card from it! Just a heads up. Would be great if sandisk included some type of "extractor tool" to make the job easier...but no biggie, just wishful thinking.

8GB micro SD & USB reader--Excellent Combination! 2008-07-07
This HUGE micro SD card (8GB) and its companion USB reader (INCLUDED!) is a great product--the USB reader is micro-sized as well, but fits any USB port on any computer--a GREAT combination which has performed flawlessly for me since the moment I took it out of the package!

Great storage, but the reader is poorly designed. 2008-07-21
When I purchased this item, it was the cheapest way to get 8GB of flash storage, which really surprised me. The card looks well build and feels solid for something that's almost paper thin and smaller than my thumb nail.

I am a bit disappointed with the USB reader that came with the card. While solidly constructed, the bulbous end makes it difficult to remove the card from the reader. I would have been much happier with a reader that either had a spring release or had a cut out end so I could grasp both sides of the Micro SD to easily remove it.
To make matters worse, the area on the left end of the Micro SD (as you look at it with the text visible and right side up) that appears to be a grove is actually a slope. This makes it difficult to catch the card with a thumbnail.

Because of these two factors, I've had a difficult time removing the card from the reader.

This product would be perfect if all I wanted was a replacement for my older flash drives, but it falls just a little short if you want to be swapping cards in the reader regularly.

Still, for the price it can't be beat. Highly recommended despite its shortcomings.

Awesome!! 2008-07-21
These little cards are great! Instantly expanded the storage on my sansa mp3 player by huge amount. Can't wait for the 16 and 32 gb ones (I'm sure they must be in the works)

Works great 2008-07-20
Works great. I just plug it in and open the drive. I've used with both windows ME and windows XP, without the compatibility problems that I had with my SanDisk cruzer drive. Loads very quick, again, faster than my cruzer drive. Very easy to use. Takes about 2 min. to transfer a gig of data. Absolutely tiny, about the size of your thumb nail. Attaching it to your key ring isn't too hard, you just have to use tiny elastic string to wrap around the knot. I've dropped it a few times and it works, haven't tried crushing it with my heel though.

Great capacity! 2008-07-18
I got this to go with my M3DS flashcart, and it works wonderfully with that. The USB reader is small and fits discreetly on my keychain.

Happy with Performance 2008-07-18
I purchased this item for my Blackberry Pearl 8110. It was simple to use and put into my phone. I have been pleased with it's performance. Instead of the total of the 8GB, it only registers on my phone at 7.6GB. I have so much more storage that I don't even think that I will be able to fill it all. I am happy with this item.
