Better than the included cover but still kind of tacky... 2008-09-13
I didn't like the cheap plastic cover that came with the PRS-505. I prefer leather. So I bought the pink. It was ok but looked kind of tacky -- too "pink". So I bought the black. It is not sewn properly and the front it buckled. The inside is supposed to look like leather suede but it is obvious that it is just a cheap microfiber. As another reviewer has observed, it is not padded -- while the non-padded cover has "cleaner" lines, it is not as satisfying from a tactile perspective.

While the leather cover is still nicer than the one included with the reader, it is not worth $40.00 and should be much nicer given the expense of the e-Reader.

I noticed over on the Sony eReader site, they were selling a Dooney Bourke cover for awhile. However, they said that is no longer available... maybe you can find it on eBay. I haven't seen it in person but figure it has to be better than this one.

Sharp looking case! 2008-03-13
This is a soft-cover case, if you're expecting something rigid then this is NOT the case for you. Inside are some pocket slots which you can use to store extra memory cards, business cards, etc.

The only reason I didn't give it full stars is because despite everything it *is* a bit expensive. But the leather is good quality, it should last without falling apart.
