Identical to Case Logic SLRC-4 2008-06-24
This "Nikon" SLR backpack is identical (except for yellow trim versus orange) to the Case Logic SLRC-4 backpack ([...]). Having owned one of the Case Logic units for about 2 years now, it's fine. A bit small and laptops bigger than 13" will not fit if you have much packed into the lens compartment, but generally adequate.

small, but well constructed 2008-06-23
The room in the backpack is not close to the generous impression given in the description. In order to insert a camera with a lens attached, the lower compartment must be reconfigured to the degree that only a small lens and very small flash may be contained. The unit is adequate for a travel as a carry-on for air travel, but if you wish to load for a hike with tripod, flash, several lenses, water, powerbars, and accessories - use a fanny pack, a cheap bookbag back pack, and a shoulder strap for the tripod. You will save money, be more comfortable, and have room for what you need.

Upper compartment can not hold the Camera 2008-06-22
Its a good deal in the price the only problem i faced is that you can not keep the camera in it with your lens you have to take it off as the camera compartment is not big enough. I m using Nikon D80

Meets my needs 2008-06-18
I've had this item for about a month now, and it meets my needs quite well. I was a little concerned with some of the prior reviews, but since I keep the 18-55 lens on my camera most of the time, I don't have the issue some of them had. The Nikon logo can be easily fixed, but thieves can spot a Lowepro bag and target that as easily. There are lots of little pockets to store batteries, chargers, etc, making carrying the camera and accessories easy and convenient.

My mobile office.. 2008-06-16
This is an incredible bag. The versatility to carry my computer, camera(s), and accessories is brilliant. Although some may consider the bag a bit heavy when it is pack with all these components, I find it far more convenient over carrying two bags...a camera and notebook packs. It's amazing how much room there is in the the backpack.

Great Backpack for Serious Beginners or Semi-Pros 2008-07-19
Great if you only have one camera and a couple of lenses. It is well designed and easy to use, though serious professionals might find it a bit small.

Excellent camera bag. 2008-07-12
This is a great camera bag if you are looking for a bag that will haul your camera and a laptop. Although it is branded by Nikon, it is identical to one made by Case Logic (less the yellow colors). I have a Nikon D80 that fits snug with the lense (18-135mm) on. I've rearranged the compartments to fit my gear better. This will not hold all my camera gear, but is great for hauling my laptop, camera and a few accessories on the plane. It's pockets and compartments are functional and well made. Only feature I might add is to make it lockable. Definately recommended.

Nikon Backpack 2008-07-10
Great bag for my equipment... very convenient and well padded for protection! I highly recommend it! The price was very low...

Paying for the name brand 2008-07-04
If you are looking for a medium sized camera backpack, then this bag will suit well. Performance wise, this bag has decent padding and provide adequate protection. The only gripe I see is that if you have more then one long telephoto lens, this bag will get cramp pretty quick. Also, this bag is overpriced and you'd be paying more just for the Nikon name. This bag is nothing more then a re badged Case Logic SLRC-5 bag. Buy the Caselogic and save yourself a few bucks.

First Camera Case 2008-06-30
I got this product to use as a Camera Case for my Nikon D60. It serves its purpose. I went with this model so that I would have additional storage spaces for lenses, as well as an option to carry around a laptop in the bag. For these purposes it works great. I've had it almost 2 months and have already broken one of the straps, however I blame myself for this. Stepping on it while trying to lift it up doesn't work out so hot.

The only reason I gave this product a 4 out of 5 stars is because when ordering it, I felt somewhat mislead by the 'waterproof' tag. The part that holds the SLR is indeed waterproof, as you can see by the zipper. However none of the other pouches on the bag have this zipper seal, so I doubt they are water proof. Also even though each compartment is separate the only thing that really keeps them apart from one another is Velcro. In my opinion this hardly makes the bag waterproof. If water were to leak in any one of the pouches, it could make its way to any other pouch.

Review: ... "Click! The No Nonsense Guide to Digital Cameras" is misnamed. It covers a lot more than just cameras. In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."
