Well, this item is a very good converter, but it has a very thin cable, so you have to be kind careful with it, because you never know when is it going to be broke. The performance it's awesome! it sound really great it doesn't affect the sound.
I recommend this item. but remember always to be careful with it.

i ordered one of these about a year ago and it came in damaged due to the quality of the product. this one is much better and i have not had a problem with it yet.

The converter arrived as advertised and in time. It works well.
Pros:
1. No audible reduction in sound quality. Far better than what HTC provides out of the box.
Cons:
1. The mini-USB port is not as shown in the picture, it is not straight but is at 90 degrees to the left.
2. International shipping charged was $11, whereas the US Postage stamp on the shipment was worth only $1.4.
So, the shipping charges are quite high compared to what was spent.

I bought the HTC Touch stereo usb/3.5mm converter so Ican listen to my music with better headphones(The one that comes with the phone isn't that great quality in sound). When I received the adapter I noticed i had a hard time inserting the usb connection into my phone's port. After a few attempts I noticed the adapter had some black rubber or plastic stuck inside the usb connector. I had to dig it out with a thumb tac which I had to be very careful not to damage the pins inside. This was frustrating due to the tyask taking a long while as to not damage anything. After removing most of the foreign object lodged inside the connector I was able to get the adaptor to work with my stereo headphones. I almost though I had to send it back. Now it works with no problems. Just beware if you come across the problem. Trying to force the adaptor when you notice it not plugging in completely could damage your phone.
