Multi Purpose soft interior Running shoes 2008-09-06
This is my first time to buy a pair of shoes ONLINE. It is because most shoe manufacturers are not accurate with their sizes; I like to check/test the size always before I buy.
What happened that I went to some department stores where I live looking specifically for ADIDAS and I fall in love with this DURAMO model, but the reason I did not buy it is the color!! I was looking for black and it was available only online. So, I checked the size in the store and I went online to buy the black which never went on sale like the other colors.
It is worth the extra money for the black color. It looks great and I wear it at work and it looks nice with the dress pants too!!
This model is very soft from the inside, especially for people like me who like to wear dress socks with sport shoes! You don't need a lot of cushioning and no need for fluffy sport socks that make your feet sweat.
I give five stars for the design, color combination, and comfort.

Great deal on good running shoes 2008-08-30
The Adidas Men's Duramo have been a great purchase for me financially and functionally. I run approximately 5 miles every other day and am not interested in spending upwards of $60-$100 on shoes from other manufacturers. I've purchased Adidas running shoes in the past and have found them to be a great inexpensive alternative to nike, reebok and new balance. They are comfortable with good arch support and are reflective enough so that when I run in the evening I'll be seen. The only complaint I have is that I have to get a size larger than my current foot size when I purchase them online. For some reason they run a little small compared to others. I'd suggest trying some on in a shoe store to get a feel for what your size is in this particular brand, then ordering them online just to make sure you're getting the right fit. It's a minor issue to an otherwise great shoe. Admittedly, the price was the main motivation for me. I've rarely found a decent shoe under $30 and when I do, I buy them. I purchased these on sale and haven't regretted it one bit.

Great shoes..super comfortable, uber-light, all for 27 bucks. Can't complain. Fits my feet great and are excellent for treadmilling

Very good product, I already have a pair of Adidas training shoes so I decided to trust the size I did puchase; size does matter...
These shoes fitted as good as the pair I already own, have very good cushioning, clean look and excellent upper foot support.

Because I had purchased the female one of these shoes and loved it, I bought this for my husband. He loved them and they are super comfortable and he loves them.
Good option for the price 2008-05-21
I have two pairs of these. I run a lot and I switch out my shoes every 6 to 8 weeks to keep them bouncy to save my knees, and I got tired of buying new expensive Nike Shox ($120?) that frequently. So these Adidas Duramo running shoes are a good option for the price. Average fit and finish. They are not quite as cushioned or supportive as the Shox I used to run in, but close. If you pop in a cushioned arch support these Adidas should do you fine til it's time for a new pair in 2 or 3 months.
