Excellent card with fair OS support
2008-06-18
So far so good...have tested on my N800, Kodak V1233 720p video camera, Toughbook 52 (XP SP3) and TX1400 TabletPC (Vista). I didn't rate it 5 stars only because I haven't tested the card for long and haven't maxed it out yet....plus it doesn't work on my primary computer a ST5111 TabletPC (XP SP3). I don't blame the card manuf...rather Microsoft for this problem.
Update: I downloaded Fujitsu SD reader patch for my ST5111 and it works there now too! Therefore I would give this 5 stars. Works with all my stuff.
Does not work with Canon SD870 IS

I just bought this card and it does not work in my Powershot 870IS. I keep getting a "Memory Card Error". The camera manual says it supports SDHC cards.... go figure.
Great CARD

I use it in my Panasonic HDC-SD5. Filled it up and cleared it several times and it works great. All my recording is HD and large files. So far so good!!! I also never take it out of the camcorder. I transfer all my stuff through USB to my mac.
Far exceeds my expectations!

Can't believe the price, about half the price of similar products from better-known makers. Works perfectly with all of my SDHC devices. A-data is also a reputable Taiwanese manufacturer of flash memory.
Completely satisfied! Can't wait for the 32GB version to come out.
Great!

Works great with my HDC-SD9 flash based high-def camcorder. I was a bit worried due to the price of the card, but have been pleasantly surprised. I'm planning on buying another card soon.
Works great in HP iPAQ 111
2008-07-25
I bought this for my HP iPAQ 111 and it works just fine. I down loaded several GB of power point, word, and PDF files and it all works well.
You might want to pay more for a different brand.

Purchased 2 of these for my Canon AVCHD Vixia HF100. One of the cards works fine (so far) but the other doesn't work at all with this camcorder. I get an error message on the LCD camcorder screen, "Check Card!" It's a shame I was in the middle of my (Alaska) vacation when this occurred. The price is right but there's a bit of a gamble here.

I received my A-DATA 16 GB SDHC card, and it works excellent with my Panasonic HDC-SD9 High Definition Camcorder. At the highest quality, I can get a little over 2 hours of High Definition video. The recording and playback works fine, and it does what it's supposed to do, for a very good price. I didn't format it, as it's already formatted, so I won't take a chance and possibly mess it up, but you never know, it might still work if I were to format it. But I won't, I have to do a Wedding soon, so I will wait till after the Wedding is done.
It's worth getting.
Derek.
Warning! Warning! Compatibility issues!
2008-06-23
I bought a 16 gb class 6 turbo SD card from Amazon. The listing did NOT mention there might be serious compatibility issues. Be sure to check [...]
I purchased the 16 gb SD card for my Palm TX to load movies and e-books for a trip, only to find it didn't work on that device. I kept the card anyway--figure it will work in one of my cameras or other toys. Still, it is annoying there was no up front warning.
Works great (tested with Canon VIXIA HF100 and Nikon D40x).

Not much to say about this card, except that the card was well-packaged, offers the capacity advertised, and works in the two devices I tested: the Canon VIXIA HF100 and the Nikon D40x.
The truth is that I rarely take out and handle my SDHC cards since I hook up the camera via USB to my Mac ... so this helped to overcome the skepticism I had given the low price and "off-brand" name.
