A better 7" wide screen picture frame... 2008-06-25
The Axion AXN-9702 is one of four frames that I have purchased over the past year and it is by far the best choice. Based on the average pictures frames the resolution on the Axion was clear and sharp, the colors are acurate and the sound is above average while the style was also above average. It's a 4.5 out of 5.

Good bang for your buck 2008-06-16
Compring to units 2 times the price of this unit, the quality is the same. It is easy to use and pretty good quality. Great item for gift purpose.

Decent device 2008-06-14
At first I was quite disappointed with the image quality, but after comparing it with more expensive digital picture frames, i have concluded that this is good value for the money. The remote is handy and it works quite well.

Get what you pay for.... 2008-06-05
Bought this for a gift...it worked pretty well right out of the box. The resolution isn't excellent, and the navigation's a little rough, but it does come with a remote. All in all a stylish frame for a cheap price so it's worth what you pay for it and not much more...

returned - locks up frequently 2008-06-02
The picture quality was decent, as was the price. The problem with this frame is that it would freeze on random pictures and shut itself off. Sometimes it would go for a couple of minutes, sometimes for 30mins, but I could never get it to cycle through all pics on any memory stick or sd card.

It would be a nice product, if it worked 2008-07-15
The first time I turned this on, I thought that all the other reviews were going to be proven wrong. Nope. After a few minutes, the frame locked up and the only way to fix it was to unplug it. This frame works but not consistently. I recommend spending the extra few dollars and buying something name brand.

Great Gift 2008-07-13
Got it as a gift - excellent purchase!
Love all the features too...you get to add music to each picture if you want :-)

Great product at a good price 2008-07-13
I bought the frame with a 1GB SD flash card. Then, it took me 5 minutes to resize 300+ picture into 640 X 480 resolution using the "edit Picture" function in MSFT's picture management tool (following a previous reviewer's excellent input). Remember to create a separate folder and copy pictures into that folder for resize, as picture management tool tends to overwrite the original jpg files with the resized / updated ones.

I loaded some mp3 files and the frame works flawlessly. The only gripe I have is that there are side bars not used on the frame. Probably, it can be resolved by pre-zooming pictures through the picture tool. Remote has "Zoom" function. But when you turn on zoom function, the slideshow ends.

Overall, considering what I got and what I paid, I give it a 5 stars. You can't beat 59 dollars while a Sony 9" frame goes for 240 dollars as comparison

Great product,once I got a good one! 2008-06-30
Great product, it does everything advertised, you can't beat it for the price. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the 1st one that I ordered did not work at all from the begining so, I was very disappointed but, Amazon shipped another one out almost immediately so, that almost made up for it and the second one works awesome. I put a 1GB SD card in it with 500 pictures and 50 songs on it and select Photo-Music and let it go all day long on my desk at work so, yes it does repeat unlike what a couple of people said in the reviews that I read before I purchased the Frame. Last but not least buy one you can't beat it for the price, I love it

Media Management? 2008-06-25
I can't compare to other Digital Frames, but I bought this one as it was a good deal for playing pictures and music. I haven't experienced (or at least noticed) the resolution gripes that others have mentioned.
I do rather wish that the software/firmware that handles the photos and mp3s would be a little more flexible. You can choose a folder of photos to repeat, but there is no randomize function. When you choose to play music with the photos, it always starts from the same track - controls only handle which photos will be displayed in this mode. You can select music tracks if you set it to music playback only, but this product could do so much more with an upgrade tweak that could randomize pictures and music.

Review: ... "Click! The No Nonsense Guide to Digital Cameras" is misnamed. It covers a lot more than just cameras. In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."

The fact is a camera’s megapixel rating is only a measure of how many pixels (photosensitive sites) an image sensor has…. An image sensor is simply one component of an entire system that produces a digital photograph… So resist buying into the megapixel hype when you’re choosing a digital camera. From Chapter 1
