Terrific buy! 2008-07-03
This battery is the best investment you can make for your HF-100. Whereas the default battery lasts under an hour, this one lasts easily over two hours with very little extra weight. It is a little larger but I find the larger size actually helps me stabilize while using the camera by placing my thumb under the battery. I wouldn't own the HF-100 camera without this battery.

Canon BP-819 Lithium Ion Battery 2008-06-11
It's just the battery we needed. Live in a large metro area and couldn't find any, Amazon was our last resort and they had it. It works and holds it's charge as indicated by the specifications.

Indispensable 2008-06-09
The battery that comes with Canon HF10 doesn't last enough in a day recording. So, an extra battery is indispensable. This one last about 2 hous. It's a little expensive, and unfortunately its bigger and comes out of the camera. If you have the HF100 model, this battery is only available in black, not matching the camera's color.

Must have if you own HF-10/HF-100 2008-06-08
I totally recommend this if you have HF-100 or HF-10 camera. Without this I wouldn't have been able to record as much as I did on my last trip.

Great battery 2008-06-06
It's a little big but it sure came in handy when I was on vacation and my standard battery died. Great bargain!

Excellent! 2008-07-08
With this battery, you can almost utilize your full memory capacity of the Canon HF10 in High Def! Well worth the $.

Don't buy the HF10 or HF100 without this.... 2008-07-07
You really need extra juice with these new cameras. Don't think. Just go buy this extended battery pack and go take lots of great footage with the nifty little camera...

This extended battery pack was a perfect addition to my HF100. 2008-07-05
If you're using a Canon HF10 or HF100 I highly recommend upgrading to this battery pack. It doesn't look as great on the HF100 because it doesn't sit flush with the body of the camcorder but that is a very miner downfall when it comes to how much longer this battery lasts.

Long battery life - big price 2008-07-05
Not much to review other than the massive amount of battery time that I gained over my previous battery that came with the HF-10. Wish the price wasn't so insanely high, but it is almost needed if you buy a camcorder.

A MUST HAVE for the HF10 and HF100 Camcorders 2008-07-04
This is a must have if you bought this camcorder. I one that comes with it will never last long enough.

Review: ... "Click! The No Nonsense Guide to Digital Cameras" is misnamed. It covers a lot more than just cameras. In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."

The fact is a camera’s megapixel rating is only a measure of how many pixels (photosensitive sites) an image sensor has…. An image sensor is simply one component of an entire system that produces a digital photograph… So resist buying into the megapixel hype when you’re choosing a digital camera. From Chapter 1
