THe mail box is great, however, the bolts that they include don't fit the "pre-drilled" holes in the bottom of the mail box, nor do any of the "pre-drilled" holes match up with the matching steel post that you can buy as a set. Apparently, they expect you to duct tape it to the post......
Nice mailbox 2008-07-15
Nice looking, sturdy mailbox. Will hold lots of mail. We can go away for a day or two and not worry about mail sitting in the box (and not have to notify anyone we will be away). The only reason we gave this four stars instead of five -- if it was a little longer it would be better. Some larger envelopes do not drop down all the way.
Great mailbox no hardware 2008-07-01
Installed this mailbox about a week ago. Seems strong, holds a lot. Only drawback is that no hardware was provided for mounting on a 4x4 post. If you buy the recommended steel post you get mounting hardware but if not, you better be a decent do-it-yourselfer or you're going to have trouble.

The locking feature, size and volume of this mailbox is wonderful. Now I can go on a 2 week vacation and not have to worry about stopping the mail because it will hold it all!
