USB Eneloop Charger--fantastic! 2008-08-20
This review is for the USB charger for 2 AA/AAA batteries.
It is the perfect size for travel--SO lightweight, and so far (only 1 charge in) has worked like a charm. Sure, the charge takes longer via USB, but what a convenient option to have!

I also purchased the 4 AA/AAA charger on Amazon--model NC-MQN06U. Also very compact, and to settle some questions: the unit label lists input at 100-240V, so traveling abroad shouldn't be a problem.

I am very pleased with the quality and practicality of this product from Amazon.

Prior reviewers were right 2008-08-19
Yep, these rechargables work great, and, as of this writing, this brand/package seems to be the best deal out there. Regular rechargables lose their charge just sitting around, so these are a much better option for things like digital cameras or flashlights. I highly recommend. I've got 2 in my digital, 2 spares, and I've also got four in my headlight for my bike -- so far they are lasting WAY longer than the old rechargables I used to use. The fact that they come pre charged is an added bonus.

A great set of batteries. 2008-08-19
These batteries live up to their reputation. I orginally bought them to use in my mp3 player and these Eneloop batteries have lasted longer in one sitting than other regular non-rechargable batteries that you can buy at any store. Even after charging they still last just as long as when they came pre-charged. Great investment.

I love these batteries 2008-08-19
I was skeptical about trying these batteries in my flash (Cannon 580EX2), even with all the overwhelming positive reviews on my favorite photo forums, I was still hooked on Alkaline batteries (the 36 pack at Home Depot is $12).

Well, I bought two packs to start about 3 months ago. I put one pack into my flash right out of the package. I didn't charge them at all. They not only lasted much longer than Alkaline batteries, the recycle time dropped as well (not scientific, but it appeared to be twice as fast). Since that time, I have bought two more packs and have been using them in other devices. They work great in FRS radios that get stuck in a drawer for 6 months before use. They work too well in our Wii controllers (which is why I am back out here as our 4 Wii controllers have claimed all remaining Eneloops and I want more for my camera gear).

My only gripe is that they don't make a C or D cell version of these, I have a few large flashlights and radios that would benefit from this kind of performance.

Eneloop rechargable batteries w/charger 2008-08-18
I'm the photographer when we go on vacations (or just down the road) and I got tired of having tons of batteries just because they weren't dependable to hold their charge. So about I tried the eneloop batteries just to see if there was a difference. They came fully charged and I used them quite a bit before charging the first time. The charging time is longer than the typical rechargable but they hold a good charge for months in stead of days. On my last vacation, I shot approximately 700 pictures and 15 minutes of video on the same set of batteries and they were still going when I got home. They are still farely new to me so I don't know how that will hold up. That's the only reason I gave them a 4 star.

Switching all my batteries to these 2008-08-13
These are the best batteries out there. No, they don't have the highest mAH but... they hold most of their charge for up to a year. Normal Ni-MH batteries discharge quickly so, no matter their mAH rating, they aren't ready it items you only use occasionally. I haven't found an application these aren't great for. They are good for my pocket book and the environment. A win-win.

Great Battery 2008-08-13
These batteries are great. I have had much frustration with the more generic rechargables not holding a charge. However, these recharge quickly and perform like new batteries every time. I have kept them in storage for months, and they still keep their charge!

Great for Wii remotes and cameras 2008-08-11
These are the best ones in our Wii remotes. Other batteries have to be recharged twice as often, even the newer ones I bought in the store because my kids had run off with half the Eneloop ones for their mp3 players.

The wiimotes and my camera tend to sit for a few days and then get heavy use and then sit for a few days again. I haven't found anything that works nearly as well as these, so I am back to order more.

nice rechargeable batteries. 2008-08-08
These are some of the best rechargeables. They hold their charge better than most other brands I've used. Get these!

Great batteries 2008-08-07
I've been using the Eneloop AA batteries for a few months now and am completely satisfied. While I haven't done any official tests, I can definitely tell that these batteries last longer in my devices than my old rechargeable batteries. I would highly recommend these...since my initial purchase I've bought two more packs.
