Not worth the trouble 2008-07-04
We could not get the product to work consistently. It took several attempts to get it installed and then it stopped working.

can't use 2008-07-02
Very complicated and required old version software to install, had to throw it away :(

Coby Digital Key Chain 2008-07-01
I bought this for my Dad for Father's Day and loaded it up with photos of him and of his family from his birth till now. He loves it! The loading process is easy and the compact size makes it easy for one to carry their favorite photo album around in their pocket or purse.

Love It! 2008-06-30
I love this item. I read the reviews that said it didn't work, or was to hard to load, but I had no problem, and I have Windows XP. I bought this one and 2 other brands for Mother's day, and I kept this one for myself. The software was so much easier to use than the other 2, because I loaded them before I gave them as gifts. I am impressed with the small but clear screen, and everyone who has looked at it agrees. I will order one again for a another gift. I highly recommend it!!

Too hard to get things rolling :) 2008-06-29
Got this mothers day for wife. She had a very hard time getting things to work. It's definitely not a 123 go product. After messing around with it for around 40 minutes we got it to work. A little too tricky of a device/software for us :). After a second time of trying to copy some pictures to it we decided it was best just to give it away to someone who doesn't mind trying to figure how to rub it the right way.

A Happy User of the Coby Keychain Viewer 2008-07-08
The Coby keychain viewer has created quite a stir among our friends. It's a great way to carry your favorite photos of our grandson and his family.
We actually ordered several others for gifts as the price at Amazon was much better than any other site we found.

Not good for everyone, but ok for some 2008-07-07
I purchased two of these to load wedding pictures onto right after my wedding to give to our fathers. I tested out the picture loading ability and software well before the wedding. Neither of my newer computers (a mac with OS X and a PC with windows XP) were able to recognize the device. The program that comes with the viewer would say that the device was either not present or not in the right mode, even though it was. I even used the USB prober utility of my mac to see what it thought was plugged in. I didn't see it showing up as a USB device at all, regardless of the mode I put it in. In what I thought was a futile effort, I pulled out my 7-year-old sony vaio and presto... it worked! The computer, after thinking about it for a few seconds, recognized it as a USB mass storage device.

Here's the moral of this story: this device can be frustrating to use. Do not give it to a friend as a gift UNLESS you plan to load all the pictures onto it yourself ahead of time, so the person can simply use it as a way to carry around nice pictures you have given. If you give it to someone who is computer savvy and stubborn (like me), that person may end up spending hours trying to get it to work. If you give it to someone who is not, they will most likely not be able to use it.

In the end, you get what you pay for. I was able to make these into nice gifts with a little time, effort, and frustration. I paid very little money, but made up for it in the time that I spent. And, well, I guess that's ok!

Don't buy Coby products. 2008-07-07
My wife purchased 1 of these items for her father for Father's day and filled it with pictures of his grandchild. Her father loved the gift. She used a Mac computer to load the pictures and had no problems. I decide I wanted one for myself and we also decided this would be a nice gift for other family members. We purchsed 4 more. We gave one away as a gift, one was for myself, and 2 were for upcoming gifts. I attempted to use the one for myself and the computer would not recognize it. I used 2 different computers running XP. I went to the Coby website and the website says the problem is the USB cable. I then contacted the Customer Service Line. They told me the only thing to be done was to return the item. I questioned this since the website says I only need a new cable. I was told that they do not ship replacement parts. The customer service rep talked to me like I was a first grader who had never used a computer. The treatement from Coby is completely unacceptable. I am returning the broken one and the other 2 becuase I do not want to give out gifts that don't work and both people these are going to use Windows XP. I recommend never buying this product or anything else by Coby. They made quite clear that they are going to ship junk and do nothing to fix the bad items. There customer service rep also treats you like you are not smart enough to use they product when the problem is they ship faulty junk.

Photo Book In Your Pocket 2008-07-05
This little photo keychain is awsome. It is easy to use and the pictures are clear. It charges through your computer in an hour. It makes a great gift for anybody. It will hold up to 60 pictures. Its best to use portrait type pictures because of the viewing size. Great memories for a reasonable price.

WONDERFUL GIFT FOR ANY OCCASION!! 2008-07-04

Review: ... "Click! The No Nonsense Guide to Digital Cameras" is misnamed. It covers a lot more than just cameras. In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."

From the Back Cover The megapixel hype
The fact is a camera’s megapixel rating is only a measure of how many pixels (photosensitive sites) an image sensor has…. An image sensor is simply one component of an entire system that produces a digital photograph… So resist buying into the megapixel hype when you’re choosing a digital camera. From Chapter 1
