Editorial Review
With the GZ-MG360B Everio Hard Drive Camcorder you can record all the stuff that makes life more fun. Everio has been redesigned to offer more satisfaction in a smaller, lighter body. It's the world's smallest and lightest hard disk camcorder, so you can shoot actively without fatigue, and travel with lots of space left over when you pack your bags. The Everio models have been equipped with a high-performance lens developed by camera specialist, KONICA MINOLTA. It captures clear and bright images. Everio is equipped with an industry-leading 35x optical zoom for incredible magnification with full optical quality. Digital zoom takes you up to 800x. Internal high-capacity HDD allows extremely long recording times. With the 60GB model, you can store up to 75 hours of video. To safeguard Hard Disk Drive from shocks and vibrations, the Everio has a Floating Suspension System that effectively dampens vibrations through polymer shock absorbers. You can choose the picture quality from four modes, from high-quality video equivalent to DVD Movie to small-sized clip ideal for uploading to the Web. In addition to a built-in hard disk drive, Everio also has a slot for microSD Card so you can store videos and stills on this commonly available memory card (optional). Now copy video and stills from the built-in HDD to the microSD card.

Not satisfied 2008-07-31
I bought this because my old Sony was acting funny, and I was disappointed that there was no way to have a timestamp on the video. So if I watched my video after 20 years, I would have no way of figuring out when I shot it unless I remembered myself. The unit seemed to go out of focus very often while zooming. The software with it was mediocre, the Everio specific one was atrocious. MiniDV videos can be run through a software to put timestamps on the file, but it seems to be impossible here. I sold it and went back to my old one.
On the pro side, the unit feels compact, though it has a badly made feel to it. No Nightshot feature that I could see.

Compact, good video, No Quick review 2008-04-06
This is a good product. One complaint is the lack of a quik review. You have to scroll through sensor bar to review videos taken. 400-600 dollars for a 60 gig camcorder w/ dvd quality and decient light levels. It is a solid buy.

Review: ... "Click! The No Nonsense Guide to Digital Cameras" is misnamed. It covers a lot more than just cameras. In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."

From the Back Cover The megapixel hype
The fact is a camera’s megapixel rating is only a measure of how many pixels (photosensitive sites) an image sensor has…. An image sensor is simply one component of an entire system that produces a digital photograph… So resist buying into the megapixel hype when you’re choosing a digital camera. From Chapter 1
