OK but...

I have the device. battery life is OK, not great, but OK.
Camera is quirky.
I have some issues with the volume of the phone--> ESPECIALLY when I go to 'speaker mode'.
The two way video call is a nice nice feature.
I have certainly not taken advantadge of the speed of the CPU.
Am I in love or enthralled with the device--probably not. Am I happy and satisfied with the device yes absolutely.
Probably best bang for the buck out there.
Nice device, poor battery life 2008-04-25
Before to buy this device I read a lot of forums, reviews and opinions. Many of them says bad things (nothing can escape from this) but overall I have a good experience.
Pros:
- Connectivity: Tri-Band GSM, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, Infrared and USB.
- 2 Megapixel camera and VGA camera in front.
- Fast processor, 1Gb built-in flash memory for storage.
- Nice black case.
- Universal USB charger provided.
- Handsfree/earphone sound quality is great, a bit of background noise but that's comes from the unit.
- Clear sound on phone calls and good sound level with speaker on.
- Compatible with SMS, MMS, VoiceMail notifications and POP/IMAP emails. (Some users reports problems with voicemail notifications)
- Several hardware buttons to be used with camera, volume controls, Media player controls or phone calls.
- Smaller than others PDAs, no problems in my pockets.
- FM radio tuner, hardware perfomance compatible to watch divx videos with the proper software.
- Hardware perfomance compatible with Skype.
Cons:
- Poor battery life (or much power consumption) 1 day duration with normal phone PDA usage (this problem is known for Windows Mobile devices also considering 624MHz processor speed).
- Horrible MWg sticker over O2 original case printed logo (in front). I removed it at the second day.
- No screen protector supplied
- No portable case supplied or protection case.
