Worth the money

I bought this mount based on other reviews after a lot of online research and I couldn't be happier. I mounted a 26" LCD in our family room and the installation was a breeze. The only issue I had was getting the lag screws all the way into the wall stud. I also bought this mount because the articulating arm allows us to view the LCD in the kitchen. The price was awesome when you consider that for the amount I paid for the mount other companies don't offer the articulation feature, usually just the tilting motion.

We purchased this articulating arm for the 27" flat screen tv in our RV. The tv is in a small alcove and the living room seating is on either side. This arm allows us to pull the tv our of the alcove and it can be turned to either side or left straight. The arm is heavy duty and looks as though it will hold up well. We just added a couple hooks and a bungee cord to keep the tv secure while traveling.
Does what it's supposed to 2008-09-30
No complaints. It does what it says it will do. Very sturdy. My friend says he could do pull ups on this thing, if he could do pull ups. Using it with a Samsung 26" LCD. Great combination, looks beautiful and it works very well.

Good sturdy product.
Their compatibility page is imo confusing. Its kind of hard to tell if a specific TV will work or not.
This did not work with my 32 in. vizio.
Unfortunately the conversion kits cost more than the unit.
I managed to get some brackets at Lowes and "converting" it myself.
Its a good sturdy unit though. I would recommend, just know that if your mounting holes are 16in apart this will not work for you.

It's easy to get the best viewing options when you can effortlessly pull out the screen from the wall, position it in almost any direction, even turn it around corners and then smoothly return it to the wall when finished. Effortlessly adjust the tilt with just a touch and level the screen at any time, even after installation. With integrated cable management, cords and cables are never in the way - even when extending and retracting the screen.
Solid, easy to install 2008-09-18
This thing is extremely solid. We've got a 37" Sony Bravia sitting on it can swing all around and adjust in any direction so much ease.
The only thing that I'd say is a negative, and this may be the TV's fault, but the plate covers all the rear connectors. The solution was to get a right-angle HDMI adapter so it would fit under the plate.

This is a solid, well-made product. It comes with everything you MIGHT need including an adapter plate, spacers, and various screws. Since I was only mounting a 32" Westinghouse LCD television that had standard mounting holes on the back my installation didn't require the extra stuff. The 32" TV I mounted weighs about 32 pounds after its table mount is removed, so this wall-mount handles it effortlessly.
Keep in mind that this is an folding, jointed device, so you will need to mount it to the wall (in a stud) off-center if you want it to fold flat against the wall and be centered. Of course if you want to keep your TV sticking out from the wall permanently then center it. Be sure to measure for your own needs. Here is a link to a pic with the dimensions:

Perfect and GREAT Price 2008-09-03
I was a little skeptical of this product because when I viewed the exact model from peerless.com it was $220. But I used the tables on peerless.com to tell me which model would work for my TV - I have a 40" Samsung, 40lbs - and it said this one, among many others, would do. I ordered, it came fast, and it's perfect. It was a new product, fully boxed, had all the parts, and great directions. I was certainly worried about hanging a (expensive) TV on the wall, but not after putting this mount in - not only was it very easy to install but it is VERY heavy duty. It works like a charm - moving up, down, left, right, close to the wall, far from the wall.
Ultimately, it works beautifully and I saved over $150! Way to go Amazon.
