Simply the best

This is my sixth computer. It outperforms all of 'em, even higher priced custom built machines. I am highly pleased with the quiet, very quick & fast performance. Some of the other flyboys are sort of envious...
This here has nothing to do with the laptop itself: Windows Vista drives me crazy with these incessantly popping up security questions and confirmations. It's doubtful that this helps.

toshiba satellite

I received this laptop in a timely manner. Shipping was excellent. When setting it up for wireless connection I experienced a technical support call to India that went well. After a few days the laptop became slower and slower and I again called technical support - this time Toshiba in the Philapines. Apparently, so much junk was downloaded (which I do not need) that we needed to disable 30+ items that were in the start-up menus affecting restart speed. I would like to have had a choice on software downloads. I received excellent technical support; however, they were concerned that I purchased this item online and even questioned if it were new or a demo. I admit that these questions raised my anxiety level as this is the first time I have purchased a computer in this manner and I believed that I purchased a new computer at a competetive price.

The computer is still a little fritzy about picking up wireless when I move it from my home to work; however it does now restart without taking 30-minutes.
