Bulky Pedometer

I bought this pedometer thinking it would be much more advanced than Omron's other $10.00 Pedometers. I had one of the cheaper ones, but the clip came loose and I lost it, so I bought this one because it has a safety clip.
Well, let's start by saying this pedometer is kind of thin, but pretty large and bulky. I wouldn't recommend waering it with the clip because it shows under your clothes. And, if you lose the clip, which is easy to do, you only have the option of putting it in your pocket. The safety clip is a nice feauture, though.
The pedometer takes quite a while to display the number of steps you have walked, and I have a feeling the calorie counter is not very accurate. I think this is a hyped up version of the cheaper pedometers thqat Omron offers. It is too bulky, and just mnot worth the trouble, in my opinion. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I would have lost it many times without the handy safety strap.

Good quality and fun to use

The pedometer features a "look back" memory which has turned out to be the most fun. Seeing the past 7 days helps keep up spirits when a sedentary day creeps in. The distance and calorie features are interesting. I use it each day now and have had no problems with the unit. My wife uses one of her own. Hers seems to put on more steps than mine though.

These are the best Pedometers in the world!! Also, the shipping and service from this provider was awesome. I have bought these pedometers for many years. The great features that I truly love are as follows: At midnight, this pedometer sets back to "0"; it keeps a record of your steps for 7 days; it separately records aerobic steps, as well as time spent in aerobic mode; (and keeps a record for 7 days); it tallies daily calories burned as well as miles traveled. It is not sensitive (you cannot just hold the pedometer in your hand and shake it to tally steps) - you can carry it in your pocket and it will count steps. One important thing to remember though - if you place it on your waist you need to also connect the enclosed "Lanyard", to ensure it doesn't fall off and get lost. All in all, I love this pedometer - because it's the BEST PEDOMETER IN THE WORLD!!!

helps keep the feet walking

I really liked the product for keeping track of how active I really am. I found it very accurate and easy to read. It has a ton of other features and timers, and converters to tell you how many calories that you are burning off-all useful info, but I am still struggling with the manual to figure out how to access all these features. It took me a half an hour with the manual's coaching to set the date and time....The product is great, but the instructions aren't, be prepared for a Chinese puzzle. The leash for it is practical and one of the easier assembly aspects. I also like the holster they give you to clip on your belt to keep it secure. I wish that this particular one came with the additional battery as I am not sure how long the battery will last with regular use, and I am also not sure where to purchase them locally. No problems with the seller or the delivery of the product. It is distracting at first as you are trying to use it, but once you get used to it...a great way to guage how well the fitness efforts are going.

Not secure enough.

I purchased this and wore it one day it was fine. The next day I wore it to school since I work there and lost it within an hour of being in school. The strap clip did not open for me. The clip is not sturdy enough and it popped off my waist 5x. That should have told me something. The product itself is great but they should have a more secure way of keeping in connected to your body. How it does long range is anyones guess!

Great pedometer

For the price, you can't beat this pedometer!!!
What I like about it is that it is reliable (even counts when it is upright though not attached to your body), easy to use (just keep upright, even in a pocket), and sturdy (most other pedometers clips break after a day or two).
The clip has kept the pedometer from getting lost or falling many times.
The memory is great for reviewing how I've done the last 7 days.
This pedometer is does exactly exactly what I need/want it to do for a reasonable price.
