The L96 is an amazing Sniper Rifle. It's heavy, and is really sturdy. The clip that it is sold with is made of plastic, and gets stuck often, which has an impact on your airsoft war. But other than that, the gun is accurate, and hurts like a MF... Have Fun!

This product sucks from this site. Buy from airsplat. It is much better. I got one from each and they appeared to be the same but were different. This one seemed a whole lot cheaper and shot a lot worse.

The gun works fine, but we're not sure if it's the gun we ordered. Although it looks similar, the model number on the box was different and the specs included with the gun told a different story than the website description. Sent two separate emails to the seller to ask about the switch and never recieved an answer (it's been 4 weeks). Not impressed and wouldn't buy again from them.

This airsoft rifle is one of the best I've ever seen. The scope is amazing! 4-9x30 zoom. The mag that I received was plastic and holds about 24 rounds. Plastic is an advantage because you can see about how many shots you have left. The bipod that came with my gun is all metal, but it appears to be the wrong one. It doesn't bother me, because the next week, I went airsofting, and realized that I never needed a bidpod. Unless you plan to lay down in tall grass and snipe, I would recommend not attaching the bipod. (Unless you like the extra weight.) The only thing negative about this gun,(it doesn't really bother me.) is that you can't adjust the scope. You can zoom in and out, but you can't move side to side. I have tried many times, I have taken the scope off the gun, readjusted the feet, and still, the scope looks a bit to the right. But other than that, this gun is a must have for all who like to stay at a distance. (comes with a speed loader.)
company and gun sucks 2008-05-09
Well I wish I could tell you how this gun shoots and everything but the bottom line is I cant because it sucks. I ordered the gun and it came right on time and I was all happy, then I opened the box. There were a few things that had fallen out and were out in the box but overall everything seemed fine. I spent about an hour finding the attatchments to the scope and putting it on so the view worked for where my eye is when I look down the barrell. I finally gave up on trying to figure out the bi-pod because there are parts that go to nowhere and aren't even on the diagram. (just as an aside the manual is short and doesnt tell you anything because it is written in a chinese translator and apparently they dont know how to speak english)
I then took the gun outside to try and shoot. I pulled back on the lever and pulled the trigger. Nothing. Then about 20 seconds later the gun went off and shot...nothing. This happened a few more times and then the gun started to fire at about the same time as when I pulled the trigger. Now however, the bullets werent being loaded into the barrell because the clip doesnt fit in the holder. You can put it in and it clicks but then it jiggles around and makes itself perfectly useless. I loaded the bullets manually into he barrell without the clip but the same old problem came up with the gun deciding to wait 30 secods or so without firing.
The gun feels great in my hand but it is a worthless pile of junk. This is the third time I have bought airsoft guns online and they have all come broken. I AM GIVIG UP. Take my advice and go get a gun at a store and dont buy from these idiots online. (especially not HIT or Airsplat)

this is by far the best sniper ever if goes over 100 yards dead accurate and will make your friends bleed it looks realistic it is full metal it feels realistic the bi pod is awesome but if you really want to own in a battle get a stinger P9 as a side weapon and your unstopable it is a awesome price if you are looking for a awesome gun this is the one

I have been wanting an airsoft sniper rifle since i think i found out about airsoft, there for my opinion may be a little bias? This gun is great! I looked on shorty usa's web site for a long time pricing the snipers and reading statistics on a buncha sites about all these different types and models of sniper rifles (like a nerd).
To make things short and sweet, for this price this gun is amazing! You would pay a great deal of money for the quality of scope this guns comes with let alone the price for the package!! The Bi-pod is amazing, the scope is amazing, the bolt action is amazing, the weight is amazing, the thumb whole is incredible!! not to mention the distance this thing shoots!
My only problem with this gun is how the frame screws into the barrel/mechanics. The bolts are internal and are simply screwed into the mechanics seamlessly. However, this bolt near the clip is a tricky little devil to get screwed into the mechanics tightly. Therefor the clip occasionally dose not load, which is simply corrected by pressing in on the clip when cocking the gun. I guess this is not any big deal, i just think things should work flawlessly when they are new thats all?
Other then the clip issue i honestly do not think you can find a better deal. This gun s sturdy and comes with all sorts of QUALITY! goodies! I do not think you can find a better deal anywhere? Not for this price anyway?

This sniper rifle is really really good, for one thing the power makes people quiver in fear..my friends wont even play with me now psh.. :P
its very durable and heavy this one comes with a really good scope too..
the price isn't bad either because really your only paying 100.00 for the gun because if you were to buy a scope seperate thats like 40-50 bucks alone and every good snipe needs a scope come on. i like it alot it also holds 30 rds in each clip :O so you dont have to worry about reloading it much like you would with a super 9. if you want a good powerful snipe you cant find one better than this.
