Flimsy, poorly made , really rates a no star 2008-08-11
It makes a great protector, not a shield do to thin plastic. I used it for a workshop in building photography, by the end of my first day all that is not broken is the glass protector. Nikon claims their screen is reinforced glass so totally not needed for the d-300.
