Very easy installation. Wireless distance is amazing.

I was looking for an all in one product for my ATT dsl line (was tired of my 2Wire modem giving me headaches with horrible wireless signal) when I came across this nifty product. Installation was a breeze. I just click the auto configuration button and I'm checking my email within a couple minutes. I highly recommend this product.
Instant satisfaction. 2008-09-28
Unpacked, plugged in power and DSL line; hit the Auto detect configuration and within 2 mins, I was up and running. Spent about another two more mins changing the password and fine tuning/updating the unit. Had and immediate speed increase and computer responsiveness overall. Very nice setup/GUI. Highly recommend!

Setup for Mac was a breeze 2008-09-21
Setup for Mac was fast and painless. In fact, about 5 minutes into configuration I thought I was having a problem and I called tech support (reached someone quickly). Long story short, I found out that there was no problem at all, the product was already set up, configured, and functioning properly. I guess I just couldn't believe it could be that easy.
Great product, love the 2-in-1. Setup is unbelievably easy for a Mac. Highly recommended.
Excellent DSL modem/router 2008-08-03
After a nightmare experience attempting to set up a Linksys router with my Verizon DSL, I came upon this gateway. The modem/router recognizes the configuration required by the DSL provider and sets up immediately. I didn't experience any of the frustration of trying to determine settings for the modem and router. My DSL source comes in through a basement phone line so I was expecting spotty wireless connections, however I have been surprised by the strong signals I get throughout my ranch and into the back yard. Very pleased with this product.
Basic setup easy

My DSL wireless router was zapped by a nearby lightning strike. Needing a replacement fast I rushed to a local "Big Box" store and bought one of these.
Please note I'm not evaluating the item on security or advanced features because I'm just a simple surfer and email user. So here is my initial experience:
I can say that I spent more time unpacking this thing, plugging it in and waiting for it to boot up than I spent getting back on the internet. The DSL light came on immediately. I simply logged onto the configuration screen through the wireless, chose PPoE, entered my ISP username and password, rebooted and presto the net was alive. That took about 5 minutes! (I'm a Verizon DSL customer)
I scanned through the instruction book on the enclosed CD and, like most network equipment instruction books, it was not informative about anything that's not obvious. So you're going to know what your doing to go deeper than basic functionality.
