I hate to do a bad review

When you use this rope, it twist itself after a few seconds and you have to stop, disentangle and use it again.
Not for me. You can't use it for more than a few seconds.

The caps for the bottom came off pretty quick other than that no big complaints.
Good but not great!!!

I have tried different speed ropes throughout the last 2 years. Here is my opinion on the 4 ropes I tried. The best I tried was the Buddy Lee Master speed rope with the Aero speed a close 2nd. They are smooth, comfortable and fast. However, the Aero speed is a bit light. The Harbinger comes in 3rd. Its a really good rope, but I did not like the handles which were a bit uncomfortable and the end caps fell off constantly. The last was the Valeo which was a bit light to the touch. All of these ropes will suit any one who likes jumping rope. Its a matter of personal preference.
Jumping Rope

The Harbinger® speed rope features highly durable steel bearings for a smooth, consistent swing motion. The "Dual-Corded" PVC rope resists stretching, and the dual injection-molded handles offer a comfortable grip and maximum control.
U could do better.

okay jump rope but because it does not turn on ball bearings it twists and tangles horribly in 60-80 turns.
Don't count on adjustability
2008-03-19
The ony thing I can say about this is that if you think you will be dependant on the adjustability you might want to pass this up. Luckily for me the length is still workable (im 5'6") but if you think you will need to shorten the rope for whatever reason do not count on it. To adjust it what you do is just push the some of the rope down into the handle and in my experience unless you continue to hold on to the rope directly while you jump it will simply expand back out to its full size.
Definitely not a speed rope!!

I have owned many different ropes and this is the heaviest one I have ever used. The advertisement describes it as a "speed rope". That description is totally misleading. If you want a true speed rope, order one of the ropes from Buddy Lee on this site.
