I really like this product. It really is light weight compared to other stethescopes. I can hear pretty well but I don't think it would be great on a cardiac unit. It's great for the ER.

The product arrived in a very timely fashion. I am a nursing student and needed this to get to me by the time we were starting vital signs skills. And it did. It was packaged safely and there were no damages on arrival. It works great. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I have been an EMT-Intermediate for 6 years, and every time i get into our ambulance its a different stethoscope with a different diaphragm that is just awful. All i use it for is BPs and Lung Sounds really, but it works great for both and is very comfortable. A friend of mine who is an RN recommended this, and for the price, it is the best stethoscope on the market (IMHO)... wish it came with a nametag or some extra earpieces, but for $40, its the best deal on the market. This was the least expensive with shipping that I found online, and in the 5 medical supply catalogs I reviewed before purchasing. Do yourself a favor, and buy this.

This is a great product both lightweight and durable. I use this instead of the stethoscope in the ambulance. I would recommend this to all EMS as well as military personnel.
Littman Stethescope 2008-02-25
I'm a nursing student and I didn't have a whole lot of money to spend on a nice stethescope. Good for basic assessment and good clarity of lung and heart sounds. I plan on getting a nicer one after I graduate in a couple years.

I just recently bought this new stethoscope after my old cheap one broke, and I have been very impressed with not only it's good looks and sleek feel, but the excellent performance. Great product for the price, and works wonderfully.

I highly recommend this stethoscope. It is lightweight, has good sound quality, and is soooo comfortable in your ears. How many of us have tried other stethoscopes that feel more like torture devices? Not this one!
Good for the price, but not the best. 2007-10-28
I've had my Lightweight for a little over a year. I've found that with this scope, it's harder to hear apical pulses in women or overweight men with a lot of adipose breast tissue. It's good for blood pressure and very basic assessment, but if you're wanting a quality stethoscope, get a Littman Cardiology III. Cardiology III's are quite a bit more expensive, but it's a worthy investment for something you'll use over and over again throughout your nursing career.
