It is amazing someone didnt invent this earlier,... it is remarkable and the only complaint I have is that I'm staying up way too late reading! *!@#$%ing amazing product!

Item works very well, illuminates the page well without shedding too much light beyond the book which could disturb others. I use it to read in bed when my wife is asleep and it hadn't bothered her at all. Only negative is the screen scratches somewhat easily, but that doesn't effect 'viewability' much. Good solid book light, I'd recommend it highly for paperback book reading.
Great for the night readers 2008-10-09
Not as bright as a bed side light... but still bright enough to see the book and slightly annoy the person sleeping next to you with a pillow over their head :)

Paperback LightWedge: Not particularly happy with it. The screen is blurry, and rather awkward.
Better off with a flashlight.

The lightwedge is a great idea (if it works). This was the first I've owned. I was very disappointed in it. The light throughout the wedge was wavy which made it difficult to read - annoying. Mine was also badly scratched. The company I purchased it from was very good and gave me a full refund.
Hands Down My Favorite Book Light 2008-09-20
I waited almost a year to write my review for this light. Initially, I thought it a little cumbersome to hold into place. I quickly got used to it though and after all this time, I still use it regularly and I've not bought another book light since (except for another lightwedge which I bought for my father). It's good as a bookmark and also for holding down the pages when you're reading. Also, the light is fantastic - covers the whole page instead of one spot and not a lot of reflection in your eyes in pitch dark. I often use it in rooms even when there is light because the light it puts directly over the words just seems to reduce my eye strain - just feels easier on the eyes. My father said he noticed that as well. Great product!

Now have both the large and small Lightwedges. Both are great and batteries last a long time.
Good readig lamp 2008-09-15
I have really enjoyed my paperback lightwedge. It came with several scratches and defects in the clear area. I am somewhat disappointed by that. I think it should have 2 brightness levels but the one I have only has one brightness level. It would be better with two, when the light is very dim it seems a little bright. The light is not even across the page. There are areas where the light is brighter and other areas where it is more dim.
Overall I would recomment it if you need a reading light. The light it puts in the room is minimal and another person could sleep in the room while you read with this light. It also prevents eye strain while trying to read.
Disappointing 2008-08-15
I was very disappointed with this book light. I thought it would be brighter . It defeats the purpose when you have use another light with it. The glass looking area scratch too easily.

Like the product, light was a bit brighter than I thought it would be. It does offer full coverage of your page.
