Fantastic product!

This product was GREAT! Having our house taken over by these pesky seed moths from bulk parrot food was unreal! These traps got rid of them in a couple of weeks! We are happily moth free!
WORKS OKAY IF YOU CHASE THE MOTHS DOWN WITH IT

My moths came from birdseed I kept in the house; I think they're the right kind of moths for this trap. I bought four traps nearly a month ago. At night I leave off every light in the house except one; I put the traps around the light; they come to the light but ignore the traps. I've put the traps at all ends of my house: same result; the traps stay empty. I've put birdseed in and under one of the traps, and that doesn't work either. The one moth that has been caught is one I found on the ceiling; I shoved the trap up at the moth and the moth went inside and got stuck. When I bought the traps, I wasn't expecting to have to use them manually. The bait in the traps smells suspiciously like plastic. I don't think my moths are attracted to the plastic.
Moth trap doesn't do anything

The birdseed moth trap does not attract moths. Two weeks ago, I put 8 of them out in all parts of my house and only one moth has been caught in the trap. I am doing a better job just swatting them when I see them.
Great Stuff

This stuff is great. As soon as I opened it, I was swarmed by moths.
Solution to persistant problem.

These work well to trap the male moths. Persitently use has apparently eliminated a long standing low level infestation caused by contaminated bulk parrot food. I now keep one open and replace it every month to be sure there are no male moths around. When no moths are trapped, no moths are around!
A tip for usage

it works

Within 3 days of receiving the product and putting it out (two traps), we had caught approximately 14 moths. It may not seem like many, but we had located the source of the breeding moths in a bag of sliced almonds two days prior to receiving the product. This seems to have taken care of any residual moths. It's nice to enter the kitchen without smacking and smearing moths against the cabinets anymore. The cats however, will have to find something else to chase and swat at.
Will get the job Done!

I was being over run by seed moths due to an infected purchase of bulk parrot seed. This stuff works, would suggest anyone that has birds to keep this item in stock.
Yes, It works

The first couple of days I didn't think it was working. Their were only a few moths in the traps and many many still flying around, but within a week they were gone...
Great Product

This is the first review I have written on amazon. This worked that well. These really do work wonders! We recently switched our parrot to a all natural bulk food from the local exotic bird store and we are swarmed with moths. After a week and a half of having a few out, the 3-4 dozen moths were gone, now we just keep one out and it keeps the few we get under control. There is no question that they are safe and easy to use. They are not ugly nor pretty but work well. That is my only complaint, that they could also make a version that was more decorative for a room. But I solved that problem by placing it in a stealth position, they moths still came to the attractant.
