Love this case

This is a great case. Fits phone well. I have dropped my phone twice and the case protected it.

The color is a cool looking metallic finish. I bought a blue one and a red one. My only beef is that the fit is a little loose. the iphone slides up and down about 2mm- not much, but can be enough to make the power button hard to reach if the phone is slid down. I added a litte felt to the bottom of the case to keep it snug.
The logo on the back is tacky, but it's plainly there in the photos.
Both were damaged in shipping (the bottom bar on the front snapped off, the packaging is not the most robust. I think the package got crushed along the way) but Vortex Cable was very easy to work with and made it right.
Great case for a great price 2008-10-18
I shopped around a lot looking, read tons of reviews across the web, for a case for my iPhone 3G. I wanted to keep the cost low, but I would have spent up to $40 for an outstanding case.
Here was my criteria:
- Not to bulky
- Good protection
- "Grippy" but not sticky (so I won't drop it, but I can get it out of my pocket)
- Not too expensive
- Nice style and color
This product really hit the sweet spot. It's low profile but still offers good protection. The iPhone move in the case just slightly, this is a plus to me, because I believe that this will redistribute the force on impact if dropped (I have no proof of this, that is just my perception). The color and styling are great! And the price can't be beat! This case is simultaneously one of the best AND cheapest on the market, a rare find these days.
I ordered it directly from inspiretech, they actually sent the package to the wrong address, but fixed the problem very quickly when I let them know.
Bottom line: If you need a case, buy this one, you will be glad you did.
Exotic Look and Worth for money 2008-10-11
I just bought 2 days back for iPhone 3G. It perfectly fits and it looks exotic. I would definitely recommend this for this money.
Great case! 2008-10-05
I highly recommend this case!!! It's a great mix of the hard case and the rubber case. The look is a matte sheen which makes for a bold but subtle look. Feels great when holding it - not slippery like the hard plastic cases or iphone on its own nor is it have that rubber which has a great grip but if you put it in your pocket, it sticks and doesn't come in and out of your pocket easily. B/c of the polycarbonate the case isn't rock hard - like a flexible plastic.
Doesn't make the phone bulky. Feels fully protected but I haven't actually dropped it to really test it.
A lot of people have been commenting on it and asking where I got it.
Slight drawbacks but REALLY minor:
The opening at the top for the on/off button is a bit difficult to get to unless you have small fingers or nails so be forewarned.
The big white logo name on the back (advertisement).
On the edges, there is a slight peeling of the super thin covering that makes it matte but it's not too bad as of yet but you might get it.
For the price it's a great deal and it's even going for cheaper now since when I got it. I highly recommend it and esp. now since the price has dropped. GREAT CASE!
Not a great fit but cheap and usable.

I agree with the "Idesign" review below: The case fits fine laterally but the iPhone slides up and down in the case; the case is also pretty thick, so when the phone is at its lowest point, the sleep/wake button is difficult to press, and even midsized 3.5mm jacks will not seat properly in the headset jack. OK for charging, though. But the sliding (about 3mm) is really annoying and seems like a simple design flaw.
Well designed tight-fitting case 2008-09-11
I bought this case initially because of the durable polycarbonate material, but after receiving it, I am more than pleasantly surprised by its design and quality of manufacture. The two pieces snap together firmly and the whole case fits snugly on the phone, with a soft, tactilely pleasant feel on the outside. The cutouts align perfectly giving access to all controls and ports. An excellent way to provide protection to the Iphone 3G that doesn't look clunky or cheap. Whether or not to also use a transparent film screen cover to give added protection to the glass front is matter of user preference-- the case fits and looks good in either case.
Not worth to buy

I have a cozip for my old iPhone, It fits very well. But it can't fit iPhone 3G. (At their website, the cozip have the case for iPhone 3G. But they are not available at amazon.)
That's why I order this one, they look alike.
The case can't fit very well, iPhone will slide inside. It's also hard to push the sleep/wake button. The case is thicker than cozip.
My husband get a belkin case at the same time when he got the iPhone 3G. I said that the belkin is not very beautiful. I want to buy one via internet. When I receive this case, it looked like cheap plastic case. Then my husband laugh at me.
I consider about return, but it will spend $2.98 for shipping and $4.99 for restoring. Not worth the money and time.
Looks & works great! 2008-09-07
This is a great case... It's very easy to put on, and fits perfectly (the first iPhone case I've ever seen that fits like a glove... and I've tried a few).
It's hard (although I haven't dropped my phone yet to test how well it protects, nor do I intend to if I can help it ;-) ), and as a bonus, it just looks cool, as everybody who I've shown it to has said :-)
It's more expensive than some others, but in my opinion it's well worth it.
Great case at a great price! 2008-08-21
I bought one of these cases because I never really liked the full acrylic cases for cell phones. It always made them seem too bulky. These one is really slim and fit over the my new iPhone 3G. It feels really sturdy too and seems like it would protect my iPhone pretty well...the polycarbonate looks and feels really cool too! I got mine in the flat black color, it kinda reminds me of the batsuit. This an all around good case and I'm very happy with it. I highly recommend it to those looking for a high quality case at an affordable price.
