These
twin boys delighted in the toys we brought with us, a particular
favorite being a magnetic sculpture activity. This encourages the
development of fine motor skills and problem solving and they
learned how to use it very quickly. I don't think they had seen
anything like it before. |

Every
student had a positive response to the Chilean Rainstick. It makes a
noise like rain when you tip it up and is great for exploring with
the senses, as this boy is doing, or using as a musical instrument.
The rainstick captured the children's attention so well that every
time it was brought out, a little crowd would form around the person
holding it. |
