Title: The Unknown
Silence. Darkness. If one could see at all, there would be nothing to look at.
Then, suddenly, there was a burst of light. Creatures scattered in terror as their eyes opened for the first time.
As the light spread, it revealed a very strange land. Purple trees towered high above the ground. Green sand a hundred miles away glittered in the dawning sun. Creatures with fangs, molars, flat teeth, sharp teeth, one leg, two legs and nine legs scurried this way and that.
Suddenly, there was another light, though not as bright as the first. More lights appeared behind it. Voices spoke.
' What is it?'
' I don't know, but it nearly equals me in power!'
' It's causing light to dawn!'
' But that's impossible! We have kept it from happening for milleniums!'
