The Place of Order
What is it truly?
Is it something beneath us
Or is it above us all?
Will we ever truly listen to its beckoning call?
Or will we ignore it
For all eternity?
For how long will we wander
Searching amongst ourselves.
A day, a month, a year, forever perhaps?
Maybe every time we try to live
We're just going in circles, running in laps.
Or are we following the correct path?
It's wide and it's smooth and it travels real fast.
Or should choose the narrow way?
The one that is scorned every day.
It involves both pain and joy.
Should we choose the path that starts
Off hard but ends in happiness?
Or should we forever fun in circles?
