Feelings I don't get.
Do you understand them?
Mixed feelings for you
You're my friend I guess
But something more dear at the same time.
Not love at all.
A crush I guess.
Perhaps.
Maybe.
But when I look at you
I still feel those feelings.
I don't want to pose a question
In fear of you not returning my care.
Not like one of those 'teenagers'
Who hang all over each other
And end up heart-broken when
Their 'lover' leaves them like
A little person-toy.
That isn't for me
Or anyone else for that matter.
I wrotre my answer in big letters
On the board
After you asked me again and again.
I asked you as a friend
Not to taunt me about it or
To tell the whole world.
Still, when I see your face
I can't help but grin.
