Title: The First Pokemon Leauge Battle
I had a big head the whole journey, but in Indigo, my head shrunk to the size of a head on a pin. Even Nurse Joy seemed on her toes. 'How do you feel about being in the Pokemon Leauges?' she asked in a small voice. 'I'm in the fire feild first. I'm scared; I don't know what pokemon to use.' I sighed. She smiled sweetly and wheeled in her chair to her computer. She did some typing, and said,'Your battling Lee Woods, huh? She has a Charmeleon,Arcanine, and Typhlosion for the fire feild. I bet you could do good with your Flareon,Ninetails, and Magmar.' 'Wow. I forgot about Magmar. Thanks, Nurse Joy.'
The stadium roared with cheering pokefans . They loomed over me as the stadium seemed to fall onto me, and I stepped up to the battle platform. Lee was right before me. The announcer blasted through the microphone to begin the battle, and Lee sent out her first pokemon-Charmeleon, and my Ninetails followed. 'Charmeleon, Flamethrower, NOW!' Lee screeched, and I croaked,'Ninetails, agility!' Charmeleon missed Ninetails. 'Ninetails, rapid fire!' Lee screamed at her Charmeleon to get away, but I guess Ninetails is a faster pokemon, and it was able to toss a big fire ball and Charmeleon was out of comission. I allowed my head to get bigger, and in my ever growing head cropped more confidence. Lee sent out Arcanine. 'You like your Ninetails Rapid Fire doin' good for ya', right? How do you like it against ya'? ARCANINE, RAPID FIRE!' Poor Ninetails went down instantly. My confidence growing in my head withered. I sent out my Flareon. Lee ordered Arcanine to use Agility. 'Fire Spin! Trap it!' I ordered. Flareon missed Arcanine, and just then Arcanine used its Slam with the momentum it gained using Agility. Flareon fainted. My Confidence died. I tossed Magmar from its pokeball. 'Magmar...' then I gleefully remembered when I had captured Magmar, I taught it Fire Blast. Hastily, I yelled, 'Magmar! Fire Blast-NOW!' Arcanine was down. It was now 1 on 1. Lee sent out her Typhlosion. I thrust a finger at it again and told Magmar to use fireblast again. Lee smirked smugly.'Typhlo, dragon rage!' I was surprised to hear myself scream, and I told Magmar to use endure. Magmar was brutally hit, but its endurance kept it from faining. Fire Blast was used again, and Typhlosion was hurt. Magmar quickly used fire spin, and then Iron Tail. It was down. The green flag was raised, and the crowd went hysterical.I yelled along with the crowd and flew to Magmar, drowning it in thanks.
