March 30th, 1729.
Dear Diary,
Today getting girls into the class rooms, tomorrow, the world!
Ha ha got ya didn`t I?
My name is Maleeka Madison,and I am an thirteen year old girl.I live in africa,with my parents, and my two older brothers, Joey, and Lanieya. Now girls can go to School, like all of the boys in my village!
We have to travel many miles on foot, but it`s always worth while, don`t you think?
Today my teacher, Miss Manicotia, told us that the English and the Americans are comingto collect slaves. She told us to stay out of sight, especially us te

March 31st, 1729.
Dear Diary,
Today the Americans, and the English arrived.
I`m doing my best to keep out of sight, but oh no! The English got Joey!!
I`m going to go out to try to save him.I promise I`ll be back and I wont forget any details when I tell you about it.....
April 1st, 1729. First day of Slave labour.
Dear Diary,
Guess what? I`m in America now.
I was able to save my brothers, but in the struggle, Lanieya was killed.
I now have many chores, like caring for my owners baby, washing the dishes, cleaning the house, washing and drying my owner`s clothes, and also caring for my owners other daughter, Melinie.
