Title: A DOG'S LOVE STORY

Last May, a dog named Hal was visiting us from Florida for a few days. Everyday when we took him for a walk, we spent some time with our friends' dog, Candace. Everytime we took him on a walk, he would sniff all the other dogs and then walk away, not seeming to be interested in them. But, when we got to Candace's house, the two dogs would seem very excited to see each other and played happily. This was a funny sight because Candace was a big, black Rottweiler and Hal was a little black Skipper Kee. The two dogs spent about three days together when Hal's 'Mom,' Shana Banana, went to Washington to perform in a concert. Hal and Candace got to be very good buddies. We think they missed each other very much when Hal had to go back to Florida. Some think they found a way to be together again because Candace died in September and Hal died just a few weeks later. Everyone is sure that these dogs were truly in love.
