Title: The Legend of the Shadows (part 3)
Marty stomped up to his room, Mom just ignoring him like he didn't exist. It would be useless to count the number of times Marty complained about not getting his way. Again, I went back to my book. It was only a matter of 10 pages until I finished. The girl in this book found gold in a cave. Just then the cave incaved on her, and she desperately tries to find a way out. I loved action books. I did like mysteries, but action seemed to be more intriguing.
I read on. Fortunately, the girl found a hole in the back of the cave. The only problem was, how would she get out? I was just getting to the good part when my mom called my name. Darn, I thought.
'April, go get your brother, and tell him it's time for dinner,' she said, pulling out a pan of chicken.
'That was fast,' I said, walking up the stairs.
