Title: Tinyrella

TINYRELLA

Once upon a time there lived a young penguin named Tinyrella. Tinyrella lived with her stepsisters and her stepmother. Her stepsisiters names were Lilyesta and Miniesta. Tinyrella was nice, but her stepsisters were mean. They made her work like a servant; while the stepsisters tried to make themselves even more beautiful. The stepsisters had the best clothes, and a queen loking bed and room, while Tinyrella wore ugly, worn out and dirty clothes and slept on a shelf in the stone basement. One day they got a letter:
Please come to the ball
To see who marrys the Prince:
Saturday, 9:00 PM
All girls and ladies
Must come.
Tinyrella wanted to go too, but her stepsisters and stepmother just laughed and said, “The Prince would never want to marry a girl like you!” For weeks everybody was talking about the ball. They even had dresses with the finest fabrics. They ate the tiniest meals so they could have the tiniest waists. They were always near the mirror practicing bowing to the Prince. Finally, the night of the ball came. Tinyrella worked as hard as ever. Then, without a Thank You or a Goodbye, the penguins waddled to the ball. Tinyrella burst into tears; she felt so alone and unhappy.Suddenly, the Great Fairy Godmother appeared. “Why are you crying, Tinyrella? Do You want to go to the ball?” “Yes, more than anything!” said Tinyrella. “Than you shall!” “Bring me a pumpkin.” Tinyrella brought her a pumpkin. “Bring me six mice.” Tinyrella brought six mice. “Bring me cheese.” Tinyrella brought some cheese. Then, with a tip of her wand, the Fairy Godmother turned the pumpkin into a carrige, the six mice into six horses, the cheese into a coachman. Then she looked at Tinyrella’s dress. With a tip of her wand, Tinyrella’s dress turned into the most beautiful dress you could ever imagine, and she was wearing beautiful glass flippers. Then Tinyrella went to the ball. When she arrived, she danced with the Prince till midnight, when the magic would end. She ran back home, and left behind one of her glass flippers. The next day the Prince’s servant went to every house to try the glass flipper. When he came to Tinyrella’s house, the flipper was too short for Lilyesta, and too long for Miniesta. Then Tinyrella tried the glass flipper and… it fit perfectly! Tinyrella then married the Prince, and they lived happily ever after.
